My mother has a shared room at Sunrise at Sterling Canyon. There is one room on one side, another room on the other side, and then a shared bathroom. They have a dining facility, and they do medication management. She is in the Reminiscence part of it, which is the memory care unit. The staff was very nice, very friendly, and gave me all the information about my mom. They do things like watching the Super Bowl together in the common area, taking them for a walk around the area, or playing games. They have a beauty salon and a library, too. I was able to try their food, and it's good. I like them a lot.

My experience getting my mom into Sunrise at Sterling Canyon was absolutely fantastic. What really stand out are the people who work there, the activities and the 24-hour staff. For the memory care, they have a baking club, reading club, walking group, exercise, trivia games, they go out a couple of times a week on rides to places for sensory experiences, and they also have music night.
