What made me choose Oakmont of Valencia for my husband is the referrals from other people, as well as seeing it and taking the tour. We liked how they knew the family members of the patients there and how they welcome you. They encourage you to visit them and see what they're doing. They also have the staffing that we need for nursing and everything else. I was very pleased with it. I have spoken with three different individuals for three different matters that they take care of, and every single one of them was a 5. They knew what they were talking about. It was all very, very positive.
They offer a lot to keep the patients happy and safe. They do laundry once a week for you. They have a barber shop and a hair salon. They have a nice rec room. They have several restaurants that they can choose to have for the family, if they want to come in and join them. They have a garden if they like to garden, and you can take your dog in there if you have a dog. They try and do what they can to make the person feel welcome.
