Christian Care Communities & Services – Fort Worth is a Life Plan Community in east Fort Worth, located on 51-acres of rolling country hillside within the city limits. There is a 5-acre stocked lake for resident and resident-family enjoyment on the campus. The property overlooks the skyline of Fort Worth, the Trinity River, and Woodhaven Country Club.

We visited Christian Care Communities & Services. I thought the staff, Solomon was very approachable and very interested in showing us everything. There was at least one thing I didn't like about it, but it was a beautiful place. It was very clean. The grounds were lovely. The hallways were nice and bright. The countertops were very nice. The rooms were adequate to large. We saw people doing puzzles. There was a very nice gentleman that was doing exercises at that place. He asked us to join them, but we didn't have time. He sound very enthusiastic. We didn't have a meal, but they offered for us to come back for that. They showed us a plate, and it looked good.

There are good things to say about this place but the food? No. The food is horrible and they aren't very accommodating. The food had met my family's criteria, initially, but has steadily declined. It is my understanding that many people have trouble with the food. The director is not responsive. Nothing happens when you talk to him.

My in-laws are at Lakewood Village. The facility has a beautiful appearance. I like the cleanliness and the friendliness of the people that we met in the hallways. Overall, it was a really good place.

The reason we chose Lakewood Village for my in-laws is because it has all levels of care. It's a 51-acre piece of property that includes a lake. It has such a quiet, caring, and loving atmosphere. They have church facilities and church services there. Even though it's an older facility it had the most value for the money from all the places I've visited around the area. We happened to be there at a time when they were upgrading and my in-laws got to choose everything they want for their place.
