My uncle is in Armour Oaks Senior Living. They've been very accommodating and clean. He's safe there. He gets three full meals, so it's everything we expected. He loves the food. His apartment is very nice and clean and they come and clean once a week. They have bingo, entertainment, and movie night. He doesn't participate much in the activities, but they're trying to get him more involved in that. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They will contact you back if you don't get them on the phone and they have taken care of everything we asked them to do. They have an exercise room and places where they sit outside.

Armour Oaks Senior Living is very nice, very clean, and updated. My mom got a two-bedroom, two-bath and it is beautiful. The dining area is nice, clean, and homey. Their food is delicious. They play Skip-bo, they have movie nights, and a van that can take them to places. The staff is very nice, too.

I will be moving into Armour Oaks Senior Living, and it has nice conditions. They have a lot of things to look forward to. The place is on multi-levels with an elevator. The room is very spacious, the staff is wonderful, and the cleanliness of the facility was impeccable. They have three exercise classes in the morning, then they have bingo, card playing, and craft activities.

Armour Oaks Senior Living is very nice. It's kind of dark and dim, it's an old building. But it's by far the best option. You get a 1-bedroom apartment with a bathroom, kind of like a dressing room area and a front room. It's a really good deal, it really is. I just met one staff and he's very nice. It's not for profit and I'm up on the air on that one. It's really nice but it's old. Their rooms were very good, there's nothing wrong with the apartment and it's really quite a bit for your money. The location is pretty decent and everything is fairly close. They have pretty much everything like dining, a rec room and some kind of an indoor theater. They don't have a pool but that's not a loss. They provide 3 meals a day, and it was very reasonably priced. It's very nice and probably one of the best offers in town financially.

I'm much younger than everybody here at Armour Oaks Senior Living. It's really quite nice and it's big. It's a gated community. It has a black rod iron fence surrounding it and it's got a lot of land. There's a pond outside, but most people don't even walk around within the grounds. As people get older and need more help, there's another facility behind it, which is the assisted living. They have even more intensive care in another building. They have activities and the food is good. It's a pretty place. They do bingo and they have a workout room with all kinds of machines. There are sitting areas that are nice and I joined a group of people and we gather in a fireplace at night and we chat. It's like an apartment building with meals. The dining area is carpeted and they don't serve a formal breakfast, they just give you boxes of cereal that you can take to your room. They just do lunch and dinner basically, and the dining area has white tablecloths. It's an elevator building, so people in their wheelchairs can get in and out of it. The staff is really nice and social. On the third floor, they have a party area and there's a ball, ping-pong, and they watch movies there sometimes. If I were 80, I would totally live here.

I like the way Armour Oaks is set up and I liked the people. They have field trips for the residents and an exercise room. They also have different kinds of groups that meet. I saw 1- and 2-bedrooms which are adequate in size. If you're in independent living, it's new, and if you're in assisted living, it's an older building built in the '20s, but it's clean. They should continue to upgrade the older building. They do some assistance and they keep up with the residents. In independent, if you're not showing up for meals, they check up on you. The staff was very informative and very friendly. They also have a bus transportation service that's included.

Armour Oaks Senior Living wasn't too bad, but the rooms were a little more cramped than what my mom requires for her wheelchair needs. The price was great. The apartments were fairly small compared to the other one we visited, and this was kind of a secondary option for us. The staff was pretty friendly.

I liked Armour Oaks. My first impression was that it was very old but very clean, very well-kept and very attractive. They had antique-type furniture. I saw two studios and one two-bedroom. The studios were extremely small, and I could not handle that, but the price was right. The one that I liked was the two-bedroom. All of them were clean and well kept.

Armour Oaks Senior Living was very nice, and the rooms were really spacious. They offered a lot of amenities like the laundry and the food. The staff, Mr. Dallas, was really good and very informative. My mother couldn’t afford it, so he gave me some other places to call and tour. This is where I really wanted my mother to be.

We’ve only been at Armour Oaks Senior Living for a few weeks, but it seems to be what we are looking for. It’s very large; the building is three stories and the population seems to be rather elderly. It’s a very calm, peaceful place, and the staff is excellent. We have a one-bedroom that's larger than most of them and comes complete with kitchen, washer, and dryer. There’s a good-sized dining room and living room, a small bedroom, average-sized bathroom, and sun porch, which is an extension of the main room. The food has been very good. It’s in a fairly central location with a lot of shopping around.
