We visited Greenwood Village South, and we liked it a lot. It was very nice, clean, and modern looking. The food was very good, and the facilities were great. The staff was very, very friendly, and helpful. They had a wellness center, activity rooms, a dining room, and a bistro. You could walk along the houses in the community.

When my aunt moved in, we were met with lots of smiling faces and all the information about the transition that you could want. The food is excellent and the staff is so efficient. Thank you to all the staff for making my aunt's move so seamless.

We moved into GVS in July 2021. We first lived in The Arms, independent living apartment, while we were building an independent living cottage. We are 63 and 68 years old. From day one, the staff and administration has made us feel welcome and cared for. We quickly made new friends while playing euchre, bingo, dining, doing jigsaw puzzles. There is such an amazing array of activities, something for everyone. My husband enjoys the Splinter Shop, a well-equipped workshop where he can repair and/or make things. We now live in our new cottage, and we love it. We enjoy our independence while feeling secure in knowing that we are safe (GVS security patrols frequently) and that medical attention is on hand should an emergency occur. We can now focus our time on Little League baseball games, going to the movies, spending time with our grandchildren...instead of worrying about yardwork, home maintenance, and even meals when we chose to go to the dining room. It really is one of the best decisions we have ever made. We feel so blessed to be a part of this lovely community.

With heartfelt Thanks to GVS for the excellent care they had provided me. After my hip surgery , I was in rehab for 3 months then I was released to go back to my apartment and I realized that I needed more help. The Staff was so helpful and caring. Every one was reliable, responsible, respectful to my needs. I'm so happy to be in Greenwood Village South to get all this help and is all in house. Best decision I ever made!

My parents have really enjoyed living in an apartment at GVS. They have many friends there and the staff has been so helpful, caring and friendly. The director is outstanding and really cares about the residents' well-being. Any staff member that I have requested information from or asked for help, has gone above my expectations. My parents especially appreciate the exercise classes, fitness center, library, and social opportunities. Our family feels confident that they are well cared for and in a safe, clean environment. The pandemic has presented challenges with dining and activities, but GVS has worked hard to minimize the danger to residents by making their health the first priority. Based on my parents' experiences, I would recommend GVS for your loved one.

As my mother prepares to move to GVS in Dec, I am thrilled with the welcome and support from the GVS staff. Each staff member has gone out of their way to make the move smooth, stress free, and an incredibly pleasant and confidence building experience. I highly recommend GVS as the first place to consider. Well Done!

What a delightful, loving, clean, safe place for my mom! What a caring staff! Mom moved in the summer of 2021, and my family is so pleased to see our mother happy and so well cared for, even through the continuing Covid restrictions and environment in our community (which is effecting the Village staff, too). The staff obviously loves their residents, and goes above board to keep them safe.
Mom is already involved in exercise (well-equipped, clean facility!), cards, shuffleboard, etc, as the residents really care for each other and try to involve all.

Transitions may not always be easy, but when I knew it was time for me to leave my home, GVS was the only place I considered due to its reputation and my visitations. It offered safety and security which I and my children valued, but it is obvious that a servant heart pulsates at all levels of this community. It is not just a place to live; it also becomes a home. Yes, all the basic needs are met, but residents have a full range of activities and events for all interests...fun, education, play, self-improvement, etc...all of which indeed enrich and nourish both body and spirit! GVS is the right place for me!

Seven or 8 years after moving to Greenwood from North Vernon, my wife went to be with Jesus, and my life changed to one of some loneliness. My son, who lived a few houses from me, died from COVID shortly after my wife, and my world, once again, was total loneliness. My two other boys wanted me to come live with them or move somewhere that I could get help if I needed it. I looked around the Greenwood area and, when I looked at Greenwood Village South, I liked the apartment, the Dining Room, the clinic, the Bistro, the parking for my car, and the many activities available to do. After living here for 3 or 4 months now, the staff and residents are all very nice people. I think my relationship with Jesus has sustained me and led me to Greenwood Village South Independent Living.

I have been a resident in a cottage here at GVS since April 2019. Soon after moving in I broke my foot and was at The Manor for six weeks. I received excellent care there.
The staff goes out of their way to k ow your name and meet needs in a kind timely manner.
For instance one day late I called Maintenance about a need and they were here immediately the next morning.
I highly recommend Greenwood Village South

Greenwood Village South is currently building its new cottages, and my husband and I have decided to build our own cottage there, which won't be ready yet. When we visited there we were impressed with the community. The people are very nice and very informative. As a matter of fact, my husband has been ill, and he spent time in their rehab facility. He liked the food, he liked the people, and that was really one of the things that made us decide to stay there. The facility itself is a little old, but they are in the process of remodelling it, and we're not gonna be moving into the main building, we've decided to move to their cottages. They have a calendar of activities too that seems comparable to other places.
