We get a lot of girls who get a lot of virtual training instead of hands-on training. The agency could improve because it is hard to get help and get anyone to come out and work.

They contact me when there is a problem in providing the caregiver. They can be consistent with the caregivers.

What hasn't the agency done? They have been helpful. I'd like for it to be possible for the caregivers to be able to take me out to run errands.

The nurse that comes in is helpful and takes the weight off of me. I like that Care Advantage communicates pretty well. Once we got a permanent nurse, things have been smooth.

Sometimes, they don't even pass on the message that you called. That needs to be improved.

They walk behind me and with me when I'm walking. I like their friendliness, and the girls that I have are receptive to suggestions.

It's helpful when they are fully staffed. It's impactful when people call out. My problem is they have a lot of callouts and finding coverage is stressful. My mom needs services Monday through Friday.

I had some horrible caregivers and some people who tried to take advantage of me. I like the caregiver I have now. She is on time, conscientious, and easy to work with.

They can provide a greater impact by vetting their staffing, training them properly, and making sure their staff actually cares. Their scheduling system needs a lot of work as well. They need to improve on staffing, communication, and making sure their staff are qualified.

Because they don't pay providers a decent salary, they continue to change from one job to another. They need to improve consistent care and availability of care providers.

Norma is a wonderful caregiver. She is able to pick up a biscuit at Hardee's in the morning to check up on my mom. They have given us one amazing caregiver and we have her on Tuesdays and Thursdays. When we try to get her for other days, they aren't available to give us her.

My sister definitely needs the help. It's a weird situation. The care that she mostly needs is personal care. I don't really expect the aides to do any kind of housekeeping. For example, if I have to go somewhere, and I need them to fold clothes or have the bathroom restocked with towels, part of that is therapy for her because she is responsible for folding hand towels. For things like that, that is also for her because of the OT aspect of it. They are not responsible for much other than taking care of her, keeping her comfortable, safe, and as happy she can be happy. I think everybody that comes here provides great care. A couple of people sigh a little bit when they have to get her up for the 3rd time in the last hour, but I do that myself. Most of them are very attentive and very in tune to where supplies are. They don't have to keep asking me. They know where that stuff is stored, and can get it themselves. Now I am able to get her out of the house to outpatient PT and I couldn't do that unless I had someone here to help me She can sleep in her bed at night and I know as she ha to get up in the middle of the night, there is someone right there to help her get up, take her to the bathroom, and help her get back to bed. Part of our issue is we have contracted for 24 a day coverage. I think in the past 10 days, I have probably covered all or part of the shifts myself. I have covered total shifts or part of a shift half those days. There's a lot of people not showing up. Every once in a while we miss somebody because we live way out in the country, but lately for some reason it seems like we're missing a lot. The quality of care itself is good. There have been a few people that we haven't been satisfied with their work. I have explained that to the agency and asked not to have them back. Some caregivers are really good as far as their attentiveness and learning quickly what she needs and where supplies are. We have been contracting for 24 hours and a lot of times we don't get 24 hours.

The aides have a lot of experience. They are well trained and they do a very good job with her. Right now everything is running really well. Now we have two that are the same age, but before we just had people that were here for the money.

They keep my father in the house a bit longer. The caregiver is familiar and the staff keeps us up to date.

We're struggling with getting the billing part of it straight, with the direct pay. They stay in contact with me, on a fairly regular basis.

I needed coverage over the Christmas holidays. After more than an hour of my time on intake, the caregivers were no shows on the two days they were booked. How awful that needed care was not provided because employees CHOSE not to go to work that day.

We used Care Advantage for my mom. I wanted someone to be there to help her out. My mom has rheumatoid arthritis and when she has a flare up she can't move around. Their service was just for someone to help my mom with getting to the bathroom and taking a bath. The caregiver did an excellent job. My mom was pleased. The lady that they sent did a good job. They worked with us on that and they did a good job.

The most helpful part is being able to have their services at both her home and now at her residential living. They let us know how she is doing on a day to day. Our only issue is in getting consistent coverage for the weekends.

It keeps me from worrying about her and I know she is getting the care that is needed. They are very reliable.

The individual that we have coming over is very helpful. She always speaks in a positive way, and a nurse comes over once a month. I appreciate that they show up on time and keep me informed.

It's good because we communicate and get along pretty good. They help out a lot, and they do a lot for you.

The caregiver takes on new things, and I don't have to remind her to do things. They couldn't be better than the one we have now.
