The caregivers spend time with my mom and get her whatever she needs like food by being right there for her personal care.
They came through with care quickly and we found caregivers that we like, so I'd certainly recommend them.

It makes my daily life much easier. It makes it simpler and I feel comfortable. They also all need to have ID cards. If someone new shows up we don't have a clue who they are. The first person who showed up here stole $300 from me and my wife. She was here all day and left before we realized that the money was stolen. We got the money back from the owner, he sent us a check. If you don't have an ID we don't know that we can trust them.
I would recommend them but I would like to know who is coming the week before though. We never know who is coming. I know there are changes in people's schedules but I can never be positive that they will show up.

She has helped me with so many things like scheduling doctors' appointments, getting me there, being a good conversationalist, helping me on my computer, giving me advice on diet, and massaging my feet.
I would like to have a call from a nurse. The caregiver has nursing knowledge, but usually I would get a call or visit by a nurse every few months just to get a check-up.

The services keep me going. I am able to accomplish everything I need to do. I heavily depend on the caregiver. She reminds me about things I need to do.
I am pleased with the service I receive. I've been with them for a couple of years now. I'm happy to recommend this agency to anyone.

We have certified nursing assistants who are coming every day to provide care for my husband, and that's with Capital City Nurses. We've been fortunate in that the day care providers we've had have been outstanding. We've had consistent quality day providers. We initially had night providers, but we were not equally impressed with them. We were not as happy with the nighttime people who came.
Capital City Nurses are providing daily care. We've been appropriately billed. The only issue we had (and we were told they were known for their good communication skills) is that we initially had some difficulty with communication with schedulers. My husband has gotten very good care. The only issue initially, until we got things worked out, was that we had some communication scheduling issues with them.

The particular person we had did some things well but other things not so well. They needed more training and could not help with administering medicines.

I want Stephen not to be bored, so they show interact with him more. They should treat him like a grown up.
They need to have better communication with us. We have had to train the caregivers ourselves. We have had aides that show up and not know what to do.

We were going through a lot with COVID so they helped a lot. They took additional worry off since my mother requires total care. It let us keep our distance so no one else got sick.
They were responsive and able to get someone to us pretty much the same day.

I like the nurse that comes over Monday through Friday, and she is excellent. The nurse if very good and bathes me and gets me ready for the day.

We got it mainly for protection because the client was a fall risk.
If the service was covered by Medicare we would probably stay. The company was pretty responsive and we were able to get someone who was a decent fit.

We would certainly recommend them. We speak very highly of the woman who works with us. Sometimes there's some confusion on pay for the individual who works there, but I think that's just because we have an unusual arrangement.

I couldn't walk, so they were helping me with just about everything. They assisted me in about everything I had to everyday, from eating to getting to the bathroom.

He resents it part of the time because he has dementia. He wouldn't let the last guy help him in the shower. He just needs him to put the shampoo in his hands. He has told him to stay in the living room. They would go in the yard with him. It helped a lot because we have both been going to the doctor. They drove us there.
We have had two different ones. One was better than the other.

It is a huge help. They are always available, and this allows me to work outside the home.
There are some problems with filling slots every other weekend. They don't convey who they are sending, and they sometimes don't tell the caregivers what they are going to be doing.

One of the aides that we had was a smoker, and unfortunately, the smoking smell was in her clothing. I found it irritating, since I am not a smoker.

She would help me when I needed to take my walk. Loretta would push me to walk a little further or to go outside. The physical therapist that came in and was very pleased with how I was improving because she made sure that I did my exercises in addition to my walks.
I certainly would recommend them. She is a ton of fun, a good cook, and she makes sure that all of the instructions are followed.

When I first started, I did not have much flexibility and strength, but after the training, I was able to get around much better and do more things.

They provided nursing assistance right away to help care for her. The most helpful part was their presence. It's helpful to have someone there to steer her in the right direction and keep under control and in the house without wandering.

They were professional kind, and they knew what they were doing. They knew routes and traffic patterns to the hospital, which is helpful in Virginia.
I liked the professionalism and the kindness. My wife had get chemotherapy at the hospital, and I had an injury.

When I was coming home and knew I needed some help, I didn't really know what I needed. The minimum was 4 hours, and I don't really have 4 hours that work. I am down to a few days a week, and soon will be down to even less.
Some of the aides don't follow instructions very well. There is a couple of them I have had, and one of them I asked not to send anymore.

The young lady took care of my wife when I wasn't there.
In my case, the person that was providing care for my wife lived so far away, and it was difficult for her to get her, so if she lived closer it would have been excellent.

The caregiver was very proactive. They would come in the morning and have breakfast started when my loved one woke up. They were very patient with my loved one. They would sit with my loved one for hours playing games. They never made it feel like it was too much to ask. They never minded if we asked them to do things. We know that they cared.
They need to have truth and accountability.

I go early to a Bible study on Tuesday mornings and she always comes thirty minutes earlier to accommodate our need. She is careful with our drugs so that they are always ready for us to take in the morning. She checks everything to be sure that we do things correctly. She does the laundry and drives us places.
