We're currently working with Preferred Care at Home for my mom. It's home care, no healthcare, just the basic dressing, bathing, and things like that. That's all they're providing. They just started recently so we're still observing. So far, it seems fine, as far as the caregivers' compatibility with my mother is concerned. She's said that she believes the caregivers are nice. When the home care folks came in, obviously, they had the experience more than we did, so they had provided us with some tips on what to look for, what to do, and what they were planning to do. That was helpful to us, to get that understanding, I thought that was a positive thing there. They came in before starting to do the meet and greet with my mother and the family just to see how things are going to go and where things are located. That was good and that was helpful that they didn't just show up blindly/we didn't know who was coming in. We got to meet, greet, and talk with the caregivers and the managers involved, and it's helpful to have that ahead of time.

We hired Preferred Care at Home of North Fort Worth for my sister. They've been excellent, they've been great to work with, they've done everything they can for my sister. They're there during the day with her, doing personal hygiene, laundry, and whatever she needs for them to do. They go to the store for her, they arranged a pick up for her when she was in the hospital recently. The primary caregiver, she is excellent, she does a really good job, she's very knowledgeable, she knows what needs to be done, and she gets right in there and does it. My sister is very comfortable with her, and feels comfortable she can do the job with the concern I have. My sister has to be lifted because she can't stand, and often gets frightened if somebody tries to move her, and the caregiver has done very well with that.

If your family needs help in caring for your loved ones I would highly recommend Preferred Care at Home. I am continually amazed by how much each person I deal with is so far above my expectations. This is a company that sets and shows incredibly high standards from the top down. I have used them to help with both of my parents. From the very beginning I saw a difference in Preferred Care. They go above and beyond in every aspect. They consistently try to make things easier on me as they care for my family like their own. These people will become part of your family if you choose them . I cannot say enough good things about them

We have been working with Preferred for a little over 8 years as a live in for my mother in law. My MIL is paralyzed and needs full care. We are in a situation that we can interact with the caregivers on a daily basis and are very happy with the service. Over the 8 years, if a problem comes up, it is handled swiftly and professionally. The caregivers are friendly and will always keep me informed. They become part of the family.
