They've been able to give a great overall care for the patient. There was a few no-shows and we get a lot of calls when there are no caregivers.

They take care of my infection on my back. They could find people for me when I need them.

They give outstanding care. There is so much going on with Covid and they are still getting somebody here to clean up the house. They are just always here. No matter what I need, they are always here.

I could not live by myself after I had my surgery. There was a lot that I needed help with. They need to improve the overall quality of care. The caregivers were not even willing to drive me around in my car.

It's crucial, I really need help. It hasn't been very professional. I haven't had anybody for three weeks. The first person came and because there were three people with COVID, she left.

When the nurses come, before they leave, they stay for four hours. They only have to watch over the patient. With feeding the patient or giving his medication, that we do or his parents do. We want somebody, like a nurse, who can look after him. With those they have sent it has been good, but there has not been any consistency in it. Previously, one nurse is to come and attend to the patient, she would come from ten to two. She knew the patient, she knew what things she had to do. Then she quit the job and now we are getting three or four nurses. Sometimes a new nurse comes and we have to teach them what to do all over again. We have called BrightStar Care and ask them to send one nurse over and over again.

We don't need too much from the care but it allows me to go to my doctor's appointments. We don't use the agency very often but when we do we get the same caregiver. I like the consistency.

If I did not have someone here helping me I do not know what I would do. They have improved my life in every way. I am able to do more things within my home. I have no complaints my caregiver is amazing. All the staff I communicate with is very communicative and very considerate. They are always quick to respond. I wouldn't imagine changing services. I have a unique situation because I have part of my care paid for by private insurance.

They need to be trained more, especially if they are young. They need to go over the detailed care plan when they come. I don't think they read all the notes. It should be a requirement. Most of them know what to do. They try their best to match a caregiver to a person. When I get the right person it is amazing. They come through. I can depend on them most of the time.

She does everything I need, like the laundry. They're attentive. Yolanda, my caregiver, is awesome.

They can have someone who had minimal reading on how to deal with a person who has dementia. The poor girl my mom had by the time it was over was just standing. She was so afraid of my mom. It wasn't a good experience for her since she didn't know. She wasn't prepared. They can have trained professionals. My mom has dementia and they didn't send anyone who has dealt with someone with dementia.

They can fit my schedule and fit my needs and it is excellent. I am a retired nurse and I was impressed that an RN would come out and develop a care plan and then work with the caregiver and nurses to offer the proper care.

They check on me and she comes to check the medication and make sure I am okay, they are caring people. I like that the agency is very kind to me.

It is a lifesaver when we travel and I would be in trouble without them. I like that they are flexible, professional, and they have been very nice and my mom likes them a lot.

I'm extremely disappointed in BrightStar. I don't like their choices of caregivers. They have no experience. They've never seen a catheter before. There were numerous times that no caregiver was coming, and I had to call the office and tell them that there were no caregivers there. They had to try and scramble to find somebody. I was having two at a time because they had to transfer me. Sometimes they only had one caregiver one coming, and everything fell onto them.

They allow me to live at home independently. They should offer the caregivers more pay per hour because I hear that often from them.

I only have a caregiver coming once a week. When they do help me out, they are excellent. They do things I can't do, like lifting stuff, and some of the shopping and laundry. It is nice having them here to talk to. They need to have more consistency with their caregivers. When I was with another company, I had one caregiver for five years. But ever since I've had BrightStar, I've had maybe ten different caregivers over two years.

They need to have people who can help me in my situation. They need to hire capable caregivers.

They came in and did work, but they didn't do what they were supposed to do. They didn't give me showers. They didn't do what I needed done.

They could implement a uniform and make sure that the care providers are clean, taking care of themselves, and not taking too many smoke breaks. They could enforce uniform more and cleanliness. You don't want to come to work in nice slippers.

They gave me peace of mind in knowing that she was safe. There was a nurse that oversaw the care and the follow through with their care.

They could provide alternate caregivers if someone can't make a shift, so I don't have to cancel the client. They have been pretty good at following up with communication when I ask for information. The caregivers need to be more consistent in showing up for their shift.

I had to send people home cause they were dressed inappropriately. I still had to pay for the full three hours, even though I sent them home almost right away. The management needs improvement. They need to become more aware of their processes and the people they send in. They send very unqualified people when we required qualified people.

They answer my questions and all my requests. I get help whenever I request it. They are very dependable.

They help with general care in the home because I'm a paraplegic. They have been reliable.

By having a worker come to the home, I was able to be cleaner. I could get dressed and could do all the things I could not do by myself. They were very caring and management was really good.

I have finally found an agency where they can get people to show up. Having them here gives me more time to myself. My only issue is that my main caregiver doesn't English very well. They are easy to talk to and they are responsive to different problems.

They are not very helpful. The person we finally got this week is helpful, but the other ones were not helpful. They need to improve communication, a way to track if they show up, and a way to see if someone is going to show up. They need better quality of who they hire. The communication can be improved. I have no idea if someone is going to show up.

My caregiver is outstanding in how she cares for my brother. She takes the time to sit there and play with him. She will even wrestle with him if he wants to wrestle. I went through a couple of caregivers, but the one that I have now is outstanding. It took a little while to get the one that would be appropriate for Leland.

They help me with shopping. They work with cleaning throughout my apartment, which I appreciate. They did pretty well. One didn't work very well but the others did.

They were able to help my grandma get her showers done. I would like them to have more communication with me. Sometimes the caregiver didn't come in, and they didn't notify us.

If they come to work, I would like to see work done, and I don't want to see entertainment. I don't want to condemn anybody or hurt anybody's feelings. If you come in and are hired to do a job, then they should come in and do work. I don't need company or entertainment. I'm not pleased with them. There are three girls that come here, and one is 24 years old. She's like a little bumblebee, and she's very intelligent. I would recommend her to anybody that I cared about. The other two, I think their intentions may be good, but not everybody have the same talents. I come from a background where I was taught to be clean.

We have not had a bad caregiver, but they need to show up every day. They never let us knew when caregivers don't come. They are lacking in the office over there.

They help me clean up my messes, and she is very efficient. They're very efficient, and the caregiver does a great job. They come and leave on time, and they go out of their way to make me happy.

Some of it was good, but most of it was pretty poor. They were caring, but they were uneducated and would bring their baggage to work. If they say they are going to send someone they need to send someone.

He only had one day of care because they decided he was too much to handle and they just walked out. A worker came into my home and I got a call of an incident. My window broke and BrightStar said he had attacked a worker. I thought she had all the skills during the employee orientation but it didn't go well and she didn't have the skills I thought she did

They do my bathing and they put on lotion. If I hurt too bad, they help with my shoes, socks, housework, shopping, cooking, medication, and taking me places. I love my caregiver. They are really really good and they are my angel. My husband died, so I have to sell the house, and they do everything to help. They sent out a few before them, but they didn't work out, but that is because we smoke and have a dog.

They'd have a great impact if I was assured coverage for the things that I need. The most frustrating thing is not getting caregivers set up. They have a lack of staff.

The other day I had an appointment and it was around the time that a caregiver was supposed to come. The person that came I had a lot of problems with. They asked to come back and I agreed that they could, and then they didn't show up. It seems like I am finding that the caregivers just want the money without doing the job.

I would prefer an older caregiver, like my previous one. I would like a caregiver that is somewhat older. I have a good caregiver right now, but she is young and doesn't have a lot of experience. I would prefer the caregiver I had before her, who was older.

I guess they have to stay because it's company policy. I like it because they can get here. I dislike that the caregivers don't leave when the work is done. They want to hang out until the time's up and it makes me nervous.

There was a lot of gossiping about the clients. They took pictures of their clients and that is not okay. They would have to find replacements for their caregivers instead of leaving me hanging.

They could use a little more training. My caregiver means well but should be able to pick up on a few more things than they do. They came through for me. My caregiver is a wonderful person.

I would like the caregivers to put their phones away and do their jobs well. The caregiver that I have now is always on their phone. I would like them to send me caregivers that do their job well. I feel like I am a training facility, the caregivers should know how to do their job before they come.
