The most helpful has been their communication. I like they are caring and respond quickly. I got several phone calls when there were concerns, and I am out of state.

Caring Heart had such great reviews, as well as several best of home care ratings and A+ accreditation, and now I see why. They have been fantastic in every way for my family. The company is small enough that the management, nursing and caretaker team work together, are cohesive and informed of what’s going on with my folks, and keep us informed when needed. They are accommodating, very responsive, easy to reach and work with, and deeply care about their clients. It really shows. My folks aren’t easy to please, but they really like their caregivers, because Caring Heart does a great job of choosing caregivers who have compatibility with them, and who truly enjoy being caregivers and it's their career - not a side job or temporary contract. Even better, we will have the same caregivers for as long as we need them, which is so reassuring and makes it so much easier on our family and gives us great peace of mind. I’ve learned in this process that what really matters, is the quality, consistency and genuine caring of the caregivers and the management team, and Caring Heart has that heart. They are dedicated to providing the best care with the same caregivers week to week, who are very reliable. Even better, they are run by nurses, and the Dir of Nursing has been intimately involved in assessing what my step dad needed for care when he came home from the hospital, helped us get prepared for him, and oversees their caregivers. She was fantastic, when he was resistant to the help at first, both with him and with me and my sister. I so appreciate the way this company communicates with their staff and with us. I am also impressed that most of their caregivers, who are all employees, have worked there for many years, some more than 10 years. We are incredibly lucky to have them take care of our folks, and I would give them 10 stars if I could.

My family has worked with Caring Heart on and off for about twenty years now. When my father was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis he eventually needed more help at home. We worked with several services that didn't work out until finally someone recommended Caring Heart to us. They finally turned out to be the service we could stick with. I remember previous services just not showing up, and my dad could not get out of bed and into his wheelchair without help. He would be stranded until I or my husband could get there to help - or my mom would try to help him herself and end up injuring herself. Eventually my dad needed to be in a nursing home and we took a break from Caring Heart until my mom developed Alzheimer's. We called them and arranged for overnight care for her and they were so patient with us as both my parents struggled with accepting that my mom actually does have Alzheimer's and canceled care, reduced the hours and then ramped it back up again. Since my dad died a couple of years ago, my mom has gradually needed more and more care. We are so grateful for Caring Heart helping us to be able to keep her in her own home as long as possible. Mary, the charge nurse, has been invaluable in her support of my mom and my husband and I. She's talked us through some emotional care decisions, bonded with my mom, and even knows how to thread her sewing machine - something my mom can no longer do for herself, although she still remembers how to quilt! Most of the caregivers have been great, and when there has been a mismatch in personality or in one instance care that didn't meet our standards, Caring Heart has taking swift action to rectify the situation. We have had one caregiver, Lilia, for over four years now I think and she is absolutely wonderful. Our new daytime caregiver Sharon is a godsend, and my mom loves her (and my mom is very picky!). Caring Heart caregivers are well-trained, thoughtful, and care about their clients. I can't say enough about the peace of mind I feel having such a quality organization helping us care for my mom.

Caring heart has made it so my wife and I were able to stay in our home and have two wonderful, people/caregivers who are directly related to the person's needs.
