I am on oxygen and I can get around now. It has made my life a lot better.
I like my caregiver. They sent me a substitute and I really liked her and would like to have her prominently.

If I didn't have Ashley, I'd probably fall apart.
I find their lack of staffing frustrating. I have no faith in their staffers. I have one caregiver for most of my hours, and when she isn't here I don't think I'll have people, because they're understaffed.

They could make the experience more positive by spending more time talking to him and getting the few things that need to be done taken care of on a daily basis. Some days are better than others.
They could be better at having their employees show up when they are scheduled to. They could have a better plan for when they do not show up.

Their communication skills need to improve between the office and the client or the family. That is the admin side of things, not the caregivers.

I look after my wife from 6 am to 9pm, then New Horizons comes so I can get some sleep. I would not be able to do this without them.
They do a good job at getting somebody that can give us enough hours. They always make sure we always have somebody.

The substitutes do not clean correctly, and it stresses me out. Sometimes things will go missing. It is a lot financially and causes a lot of stress.
The caregiver I have now is amazing, but a lot of them still need a lot of training.

I have the same three people most of the time. It gets me annoyed when they walk in and ask what they have to do when they have a regular routine.
They don't take too long to replace someone if they cancel.

The agency is very available, understanding, and responsive to me and my questions. I made a recommendation for a caregiver and they said they would follow up which was nice.
I think the consistency of the care in general and more feedback on how things are going.

Rebecca kept wearing her face mask below her nose. I was concerned with having people I didn't know come in and touch my things just because of covid.

The actual hands on with the chairs and the walkers helped the most.
They always had a good line of communication but I would have liked more time per visit. We wanted one on one time with them and didn't really want to hear about them having to leave all the time.
