Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

The substitutes are not so good, mostly. They are really not doing their job. They need to have the desire to do the job. They just want to sit and do nothing. They need to be more helpful.
They could have more consistent caregivers with consistent abilities.

One thing that they have done is helping me to move my husband because I can't do it by myself. Without them I have a problem.
I would like to make sure that someone is guaranteed to help me to my house, but I know they try.

They do what they are supposed to do. They shower me and prepare my meals. They shop for me when I need it.
They have been very nice, if I call them, they will call me back. I haven't had any problems with them besides getting 4 hours at the end of the day.

Became a client of Right at Home a few months ago. Utilized their services to help care for my adult brother. From my first interactions with Anne and Angela , I knew I had chosen a great agency. These wonderful women are a reflection of a professional and empathic home heath care provider. They are extremely experienced and detailed in their interactions, always explaining each step of assessment and assistance in a caring and insightful manner. Often they went above and beyond to help me understand how to navigate the complexities of health care. Everyone I dealt with at R at H was professional and attentive to my brother’s needs. Just a great agency to help with your loved ones.

The number one thing I was concerned about with getting home care was an agency's ability to fill my needs, and this agency has been able to do that. I'm very happy with the aide I have, but it was a trial and error basis. When I needed a new aide, the agency sent someone who fit my personality needs better.
I'm kind of a demanding client. I'll call them if I need something, and they're very receptive to anything I need.

It is 24/7 care, and it's expensive, so that has been stressful. It's mostly just the cost.
The staff has made this very accommodating and professional. They have made a tough situation less tough.

They need to do a better job of communicating when the caregiver is going to be off, and tell me who is going to come in when they do.
I like that they seem to be on top of things and are responsive. They can bring in backup caregivers when others are on vacation.

When my mother's main caregiver has to go away for a day or two, there is no consistency or reliable quality in the substitutes that they send.

Well, I think because of the situation, they are doing the best they can possibly do. Maybe they can have a little more communication with the caregiver if there is a problem.
Well, they are always in contact with me when there is a problem or if I need someone to cover.

They were very helpful, but we had troubles with some of the caregivers.
We only had one aide who was worth anything. We weren't able to get the same aide everyday, so we had different ones everyday.

They could get me the rides I need to get me to my appointments, but they do help me a lot when they are here with me.
They can't always get me someone to drive me to my appointments, and then I have miss my appointments. I really like some of the caregivers because they are nice though.

I like that they try to be able to come whenever I need help. It helps me get out of the house, to do chores, and to go food shopping because without them, I wouldn't be able to do it.

They seem to have covered my loved one's needs well. Not all the caregivers are skilled enough for the care, though, and they try to tell me what to do with my loved one. They make it possible for my loved one to live. They can't walk, talk, or see, so they need someone with them at all times. Right at Home makes that possible.

They mobilized and were able to assist us very quickly. My father had a stroke, and we needed someone right away, and they have been able to provide that. They have provided my mother with assistance in caring for my dad. The caregiver has done everything we asked and knows exactly how to take care of my father.

I think Right at Home is pretty average. They are all about the same. The caregiver is fantastic. She bathes my mom, and she cares for her. Just knowing that she is in good hands when I go to work makes my life easier. The caregiver is like my right-hand-woman.

On July 18, 2016 we were introduced to Shelly. This angel was sent to us. She is the most caring, wonderful person anyone has ever met. My mom is bedridden and needed a lot of help. Shelly cleans her, talks to her, feeds her, and makes her smile. It is difficult to see your parents get older and need extra care. Right At Home has made the help easier and the decision easier for our family.

I would tell someone that Right at Home is local and very good if you live in the Chattum area, that they give good advice, that they listen to your needs, that they work well with the elderly, and that they are willing to switch out caregivers in order to find a good match. The services keep my loved one busy during the day, provide him with friendship, get him out of the house, and help with the chores.

Right at Home was very helpful in setting up the care. The caregivers provide good care and are trustworthy. It is helpful that the caregiver is there with the client to make sure the client is safe and remind the client to take his medication.

I've had Right at Home three times. This was the first time I had them around the clock. I was really satisfied with Right at Home. I'm very independent and I don't like someone hovering around me all the time. Right at Home had to do that because they didn't want me to fall. Once I felt better I preferred to be alone, but I don't want this rating to reflect badly on Right at Home.

I would recommend Right at Home because they have helped me out from the beginning, they provide high quality aides, and they constantly check on our needs and how the service they provide is going. It is nice to have a caretaker who is strong. The services by Right at Home have also calmed me down because I know they are qualified to help and assist.

The people from Right at Home were great and professional. The head of caregiving did an interview with us and was really great at helping the family work through taking care of my grandmother and making her feel comfortable. We require that the same caregiver comes in every day for four hours in the evening to make dinner for Grandmother, get her ready for bed, and make sure she is comfortable. The management is good and always available by phone. They're a little bit more expensive than other agencies, but I feel that it's worth it.

Right at Home took excellent care of my Grandmother who was living in Chatham, NJ with breathing issues and multiple infections. The office staff was so helpful with resources in the area for my Grandmother and they were all very hands on and proactive. Her Caregiver Judy eventually became a friend of hers. I would highly recommend Right at Home to anyone who has a family member going through a hard time, to make their quality of life much better.
