I don't have to take care of my mom when they're here. I have a break in the morning and I'm able to get some chores done.
The individual I'm receiving takes good care of my mother.

They have helped me by having a caregiver help me walk and do things around the house.
I would like them to improve by having the nurse come more often to check up on me.

They sent a nurse and called to make sure everything was okay. They seem to hire good people. These are people who are responsible and kind.
They are there when I call. If they can't get me somebody right away they will call back. I really like them.

I have been using Generations Home Healthcare for a number of years now. They are caring for my sister. They are there 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They're certified home health care aides, and they do everything. They assist her in getting dressed when she needs it, making meals, and making sure she is safe, which is the most important thing. My sister is very comfortable with them. She knows most of them now. There's a core of four people that handles her care. In general, they have qualified people working for them that care about the clients.

They did help me a lot. They had to do everything for me, because I can't stand or walk at all.
Sue, the president, and Lynn were very attentive to me. They came over every other day. When I first came home, they went and got me groceries and diapers.

Generations Home Healthcare provides live-in services for my father who is unable to care for himself due to Ankylosing Spondylitis. The people at Generations are the most congenial, warm, and caring people I have met in general - let along as healthcare service providers.
When we first reached out to Generations, I was temporarily living with my parents in order to help take care of my father and other family events taking place. The made time to visit with me and my parents several times in order to help us identify the best ways to meet our complicated needs. Every time we met was a pleasure - and I still enjoy talking with them several months later.
The provider we have has been wonderful - attentive, friendly, supportive, and generally great for my father.
Without reservations, I would highly recommend Generations Home Healthcare to anyone in need of their services.

We used Generations for two years. They took care of my mom. She passed away a week ago; she had Alzheimer's. I can't say enough about these ladies from Generations. They were absolute angels. They were very good and very professional. They were so responsible for what my mother's needs were. Anything she needed from doctor's appointments to total live-in care, they were there. Billing and scheduling was fine. They said it could go right out of Mom's checking account, so that was never a problem. Scheduling was never a problem either. They made sure that there's somebody there with Mom all the time. They were unbelievable. With this time of COVID and everything else that's going on, the fact that I could keep Mom home and not put her into a nursing home, I can't even begin to say the peace of mind that I had.

We are extremely pleased with Generations Home Healthcare. I left a message and I immediately almost got a phone call back the next morning. The owner was lovely and spent 40 minutes on the phone with me. She said that they didn't provide caretakers for Sussex County because it was about an hour and a half away; however, they would like to do it. What surprised me immediately is that she said she'll come up and meet my sister. She made an arrangement, and we all met at the nursing home. The owner came and she brought another girl with her. They spent an hour and a half with my sister and I explained our needs about the house, about my sister living alone for years, and what her physical and emotional needs, are everything I could think of. Then on July 30th my sister came home and that morning a lady arrived who was going to be her caretaker, and she was wonderful. She only lasted a month simply because she was pregnant and she had to go home and have the baby. We got a replacement as of Labor Day and her name is Olivia. She has become part of the family and we love her. She is from Nigeria. She has humor, and she is 52 years old. She is caring, competent, and engages with my sister with puzzles and talks. It is lovely and it is working out beautifully.
I never expected the owner to come to our house once a month or so. Also the director of nursing takes my sister's vital signs, checks her pulse, her heart rate, skin, ears, eyes, and her blood pressure. It is all recorded, which goes back to my sister's primary doctor once a month, which is perfect. We are more than pleased. I have recommended it to many others.
My sister needed a lift when she first came home to help transfer her from the bed to the commode, etc., because she was so weak from being in bed so much; however, we didn't have a lift and they were expensive. Well, Generations brought up a lift for my sister with no charge whatsoever. They have been great to us. Questions are always answered, phone calls are returned, it couldn't have been better. We are blessed. They brought masks, sanitizers, and thermometers when the virus started. They traveled up and back.

We're using Generations for my mom. The girl who came to do the preliminaries was a nurse and she's very nice. She told me that they have classes for the home health aides that they must take. It's all run by nurses, so they're very good. They also give home health aides a book on what to talk about so that the people that they're servicing don't get bored during downtime.
