They listen to you. They are very careful. They give my sister extra help in the nursing home.

It takes some pressure off of me, who does the care otherwise and works. I don't have to get over there some days to do the care myself.
With the caregivers, you have to be sure that they are going to show up or not.

In the beginning, it was setting everything up, now they call every time she isn't able to come and offer us the option of getting someone else. I appreciate that they take it seriously and reach out.
Right now, the person that we have come has canceled twice and that's frustrating. They offered me someone else but I don't want different people with my dad. I don't want one out of every ten days for her to call out.

They were able to come and take care of my husband. I'm an old lady and can't lift him, and didn't want him in a nursing home.
David, who runs the company, was so wonderful to us. I don't have enough good things to say about him.

We only had people there for a couple of weeks. One caregiver came one day and disappeared, another only came for a couple of days.

The attention they gave to my mom and the one on one attention was great.
They could have had more communication with their staff. The caregivers would not know that we canceled or something and the caregiver would show up.

They were able to find a really great match for my mom. They've been committed to trying to do that and not just giving me anyone who wouldn't be a good caregiver.
Sometimes the staff has challenges communicating which each other.

The nurse hasn't been here. I have things to do and they feed him and bathe him. That helps because I've been doing it for twenty years and I get tired. It's a little relief for me.
It's a new company and service. The caregiver is nice. They could improve communication with the patient.

I needed someone to stay with us through the evenings and be very present to physically handle him.
During COVID-19, I got calls from the owner. He was concerned with how we were doing and spoke to the caregiver. He helped us find gloves.

It was a last minute thing to get the care and within 24 hours everything was taken care of.
Everyone who has been here is totally vetted, screened, professional, and knows what they are doing. I have multiple of their staff here and they just come in and know exactly what to do.

We hired a young lady from Synergy HomeCare for about an eight-hour span. She helped my grandmother around the house and helped her get ready for a nap and just made sure that she was generally safe in everything that she was doing. She was very good, showed up on time, and was very attentive to her. My event was running a little bit late and she even offered to stay an extra hour, which was very helpful. Everything went very well.

They were very easy to contact. If I didn't like someone, they sent a replacement right away.
Often times, there were issues, and unless I brought them up, they didn't automatically do things. If I didn't bring it up, it wouldn't happen, which just made it seem like they were trying to pull one over on you.

My mother has a new provider, Maria, and my mother loves her. She looks forward to her coming. Last week, my mother's wheelchair broke, and Maria came with flowers. She hugs her and sings to her.
I like that they are easy to get in touch with if I need anything. They are accommodating and responsible.

The office was so responsive. They were excellent and they did a wonderful job. A lot of the people that they sent were lacking. It is not the fault of the office.
The workers can improve. The people in the office that arranged these are fantastic. They respond immediately and do what they can. The caregivers do things they should not do, such as fall asleep on my daybed in the living room. I still had to go in there and see what he needed. They were also late. I had at least one person that was totally excellent. It is not easy to get caregivers who do what they are supposed to do. They should not listen to music with headphones or be on their phones. I would recommend SYNERGY as often as I would recommend any other company. The office takes care of me and the scheduling for my husband. That was top notch. A lot of the workers abuse their job. They are here to care for my husband and not be their phone or listen to religious programs. They could at least text in the same room as him.

I live four hours away from my mother, so the agency made me comfortable because I knew that a caregiver was with my mother. It put me at ease.
They were truly amazing, and they went above and beyond. They were so flexible, and they were very aware of working with elderly people.

It is very flexible. He has mental health issues. It definitely helps because he can't take care of himself. They take care of the apartment and his groceries. I had hoped that she would be able to take him outside and go for a walk, but she can't force him to do that.
I like the fact that the co owner came to my brother's home to find out what we needed.

They keep on trying. There was lapses in between that they couldn't find someone, but they keep trying to find someone. If they could get a male aide and be able to come on Sunday, that would be great. I'm only looking for a couple of days a week for a couple of hours.
