Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

They are very accessible to us, they are reachable to me even though I am not the one receiving care. He feels comfortable with them. They make sure my dad has consistent support.
It is more of meeting the needs of my father, I am able to reach them when I need to. They are flexible for his needs.

The aides remind me to take my medicine whenever I forget.

It has made a lot of difference because I have somebody here 5 days a week to come see me and help me out with anything I need. One day on the weekend, nobody comes.
When my schedule changes because of various appointments, they try to accommodate me as much as possible to help me get there. They also do well about shifting their schedule.

Sometimes they are inconsistent. They do cleaning and we have a list that they follow on the refrigerator. If they have time left over, they can sit with me. I'm not a stickler for details, I just care that the job is done. There's some confusion every day. They are inconsistent about calling me and telling me their plans. They could tighten it up a bit or send somebody else.
They could improve the quality of the people that they hire. I've had four workers, and three of them quit and the one left cannot drive. I got in a car with her and she scared me. She's supposed to be able to do that. None of them were able to be satisfactory. They have tremendous turnover and below-average quality people. There was one person, Tabitha, that was okay. She knew what she was doing. The others just seem lost. That's not a reflection on Brian or Betty Jean, it's just the quality of the people that they're hiring. They need to do a better job of screening.

The care was for my father-in-law, but that impacted my husband and I because he had Alzheimer's and he ran away. Having Right at Home here when we weren't able to be here was very helpful.
They were able to work with us on a very short notice.

We have someone coming in for in-home care from Right at Home Ann Arbor right now. They have a group of maybe 4 or 5 people that they regularly send over to the house. Those people keep an eye on my dad and perform basic duties and functions. The caregivers are pretty pleasant and pretty nice. Some are better than others. We have the opportunity to request people if we need to. I think some of them are a good match to my dad. There are 2 or 3 of them now that we have that are pretty regular which are fairly good matches. In times when they are not able to send people to the home when we are requesting, often times those people are not necessarily the best match.
