The agency could stick to the commitments and have professionals do their job.
I would like to see them follow through with what they were supposed to do. My mother was not able to be alone but no one would show up on time.

When you guys are here it's not disruptive at all.

For the most part, a couple of the caregivers I've used have been excellent and they have all served the purpose for which they're hired.

I'd tell a friend that I like that they were very informative and taught a lot to the family.

The caregivers that were not good fits were passive and not very proactive.
They have had a lot of turnover and its made for a very disjointed experience.

It had a positive impact. I used them a few months ago, and I'm well beyond where I need them. At the point, it was helpful to have someone help me do things I couldn't do and take me places I couldn't drive to.
They were very convenient and easy to work with. They were helpful and thorough, both in the office and for the caregiver that I was working with.

It is a big deal because if they don't do it, I have to run over and take care of it because it is urgent.
He needs a specific service and they have not been doing well at providing it. A lot of the time people don't even show up.

They need to have better communication with us. I don't see his admission paperwork and he started over a month ago, we should have that.
I would like to see the timeliness that nursing notes are sent back to us improved, and admission paperwork.

My brother is in a wheelchair so this care is very critical to have some quality of life.
The aide comes 7 days a week. She is reliable and takes good care of my brother.

I wish that the appointment times were made known to me in advanced.
I wish there was more transparency with BrightStar. I had one nurse for a while then got randomly reassigned without knowing in advance.

The caregiver was coming into my moms assisted living and the assisted living people were confused. The fact that the caregiver came in for a meeting so we could figure out what had to happen was incredible. There is a nice personal touch.

We wouldn't have people show up and not receive any notice, it was very inconsistent, and the quality of care wasn't good.

My mom would ask for help and they would make excuses to not do it just like not changed soiled underwear like their job says they are supposed to.
We complained about the aides because some of them were sleeping on the job but the manager kept making excuses for them.

My husband can't get along without them he is in a wheelchair. They help give his showers twice and week which is something I can't do.

They have a strong sales team that over sales what they are able to provide. They should have some understanding that the client might change their attitude. We had caregivers that would say that they would not take care of my mother because she would get aggressive, so I had to get up at 11 at night to take care of my mother.
They are horrible. There was no consistent communication, the aides would show up late, would arrive late, and not want to care for my mother. My mother fell and had a face injury when they were there.

They are letting me sleep by being here.
They are here at night when I am sleeping. I don't really get a firsthand look at the care. Basically, he won't let them care for him. Since they have been here, he has been quieter.

Tried to use this agency a few times but each time the caregiver has been late or didn’t show up. On the very last occasion my parents were left alone without anyone being there for hours. When someone arrived it was an unlicensed person who did not know how to care for them. Other times the agency would call at the last minute leaving no time to make new arrangements.

Someone would've had to take a day off work every three months, and it's very convenient for us.
I'm impressed by the staff's responsiveness. Occasionally the caregiver has been late, but they make it work.

It was vital and definitely important to the life of my dad. It was very important.
We had probably two days where no one came to check his blood sugar and give him his insulin. We were supposed to have coverage, and we didn't receive insulin. If we hadn't been in town, that would have been problematic.

It made a very significant difference. It took some pressure off of my mother, who was taking care of my father. It allowed her to get some rest because they provided care overnight.

They just made my loved one feel comfortable and supported all day long. The problem is they each have some ideas on how to do things. It would be better if they were trained in one day. We have three different people doing three different things and it's not uniform.
I like that they tailor what they do to my home, so I'm not changing my lifestyle to have them come to my house.

It was stressful. The nurse was nice, she just got rattled very easily. They need to be the professional and find a replacement when my caregiver is not able to come. They needed to be the supervisor and tell me what they were going to do instead of leaving some reliance on me saying what I need.
They could have the nurse that schedules me to not cancel me last minute and not leave me high and dry.

Once they get here, it's fine. I don't have the same caregivers, which is annoying.
I am not made aware of scheduling in advance. The afternoon of the day, I don't know if someone is coming or who is coming.

I don't know what they are supposed to do and if I ask them to do certain tasks that they aren't supped to do, I might get in trouble. The things that they do, they do well, but I might get in trouble for asking them to do specific things.
There is a language barrier and I have a hard time understanding them. I don't understand what they are supposed to do.
