We utilized a large group of caregivers, who provided everything from meal prep and feeding to hygiene needs, transfers to/from bed to wheelchair, administration of meds, walking and getting fresh air, and companionship. They all spoke English (which was a concern for my father and his wife, both hard of hearing), and they were engaged and talkative with my father but gave the family privacy and space when it was needed. They provided the best-fit caregivers for our father. Every one of them was kind and considerate. We were never worried when we knew a Home Helpers caregiver was with our father; they were true professionals and a God-send to our family. Home Helpers began with care about 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, and ultimately were there 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The caregivers and the Home Helpers management team became like extended family. Now that our father has passed, we miss them all! Home Helpers was a true partner with my family in providing the best possible care for our father during his final journey. They made sure he was comfortable, safe and well-cared-for. We will never be able to thank them enough, and I recommend them without hesitation.
