Right At Home provides supportive home care to elderly and disabled adults in the Fox Valley area. Caregivers are employees of this full service agency and carefully screened, insured,bonded,trained and closely supervised. Each caregiver works from a detailed custom care plan agreed upon in advance. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for those we serve. Maintaining your independence is an option!

I am not able to take care of myself and the service has been great.
I would like them to be all my home care girls. I like that Paulina and I get along very well.

It gives the client the opportunity to do the exercises every day that he should do. And it has given me time to get ahead on chores.
I like the agency because they are knowledgeable, and they try to learn.

It all comes to the girls,. They are very aware of my father-in-law's problem. They are gentle and kind and helpful to him.
I like the girls that come here. The people that they send are good at what they do.

The caregiver is consistent.
They have been very easy to deal with on my end. I know that they are short-staffed, so at times they can't always get me caregivers.

They seem to have quite a turnover of people who were coming here. They need to try to find someone who would be more regular.

They provide a caregiver who does light housework.
I haven't used the kind of care that I'm getting here for very long. I'm not fully aware of what my caregivers can do. It would be nice to have a list of things they don't do.

They are sort of at our beck and call. We haven't needed them too often so far, but we will use them for rides or to pick up medicine.
They answer my calls right away, and if I need something they will help me. Tanya is right here and will help me when I need it.

I like the lady I talked to set up the schedule and some of the caregivers.

They got everything done that needed to be done the one time they came.
The first time I tried to schedule them, I had a grocery delivery schedule, and I later found out they had scheduled someone for five hours later.

They have confidence in what they day. They do not say something and believe that it will not happen, that really stands out.
I have a couple different services that come into my house. With this Covid it is hard to get certain people at certain hours of the day, and this agency has been very consistent with getting people and have been reliable with the staff. With the care level, it is kind of a mission for them.

They should have better trained people. There's no reason that I should have to show them how to put the liner in the diaper.
Sometimes someone would come an hour late and disappear after an hour. They were very inconsistent. There needs to be some consistency with what my wife needs.

Everything is okay, but they've only been here a couple times. They've only been here twice after I've been hospitalized.

It is hard to have someone else in the house, even though she does help me. This is just my personal opinion.
I like the way they treat my husband. He is not always a happy person, so that is the number one thing.

It made me anxious and unhappy because I was constantly worried about who was coming to my house. They had a problem getting people to come to work.
I'd like them to improve everything, but the scheduling was horrendous.

They have been excellent. I think we've gotten along well and I don't think there is anything that can cure me, but they take good care of me.

I needed help because I am a paraplegic. I needed help getting out of bed and into the bathroom. They could have been doing other things while I was in the bathroom.
They could have improved their ambition level.

They have just done exercises with me.
I would like them to just have the same person come every time. They have sent three or four people within weeks. That was right after having a great caregiver.

They have done well at taking care of my husband because they are supposed to do the dishes and laundry. They have completed that.
I don't think they have enough workers, so if someone has to cancel, they have trouble trying to find someone to fill in.

My mother has a caregiver from Right at Home of Fox Valley. They hand the medication to her, feed her breakfast and lunch while I'm at work, and do light housekeeping. We started out with a really good aide, the next one was pretty good, and the third is still very new. They've been pretty good for the most part.

My father just needs company, and he likes it when they take him on outings.
When we called them, they came the next day. When they've had to adjust the schedule, they are easy to work with. The caregivers that we've had have been good, and my dad has gotten along with them well.

The girls that come, once we have had them a few times, they are really good. They help and pitch in. For a while, we had a different person every time. That is difficult because they don't know what to do.
Lately they have been doing better, but I never quite know who they are going to send. Lately they have settled on somebody.

They do housecleaning, make sure the closets are cleaned, and do things outside. They could do the flowerbeds.
I would like to have more outside work done.

My dad and mom live independently and Right at Home breaks up the monotony.
We have a great caregiver. They are responsive when we call and are accommodating when we have to cancel.

My wife was suffering from late stages of Dementia, and she couldn't speak or feed herself. Tonya was my go to person so I could get a break periodically. I think my wife lived several more months than we could possibly expected because of Tonya, and it helped me a lot.
The person we had supporting us was fantastic. She was unbelievably good, and I can't say enough about her.

All the caregivers are small women. They aren't very muscular, so they can't lift her and transfer her.

I have to give a "shout out" to the owner and staff at Right At Home, located in Batavia, IL. I am a local care manager that recently was dealing with a very intense, high acuity case, requiring short shifts of care in an emergency situation. Kathy was wonderful to work with. She didn't hesitate to jump in and help, quickly staffed the requested hours, which no other agency was able to staff, on a Friday at 4pm! The staff supported the family and provided care for the patient in a was that was gentle, supportive and accepting. I can't thank them enough, job well done!

They didn't have to be told what to do. When they came in, they knew what to do. They played games with him.

I am dependent of someone to help me get out of bed and into the toilet. If I didn't have someone I would be in trouble.
I would recommend them because they always make an effort to make sure that I have consistent coverage.

They are very kind and attentive people. They really care about their work and the people they take care of. They get the work done around the house. I smashed my femur and I am not able to bend my leg, so they do the vacuuming.

I am very likely to recommend them because they are very accessible by showing up on time and being able to work with my schedule. They have made my life better by adjusting to my schedule needs and by being here when I need them.

The people that we have here are always nice, friendly, and very helpful. The caregiver that came in the beginning knew exactly what to do, and I didn't have to worry about her. The service is helpful to me because I can get a three hour break from caregiving.

The people who come from Right at Home to help me are excellent with what they do with me. I have only one leg and any time I move, I have to be in a wheelchair. That is hard for them and they are gracious with that. The thing that is the most help is moving me in the wheelchair when I need to be moved.

My caregiver is trained well, systematic, and wonderful at making suggestions. Right at Home makes my life easier by taking the burden off my spouse for doing everything for me in the afternoon and evenings, such as getting dressed and showering.

Right at Home is a good company to hire because they are good about paying attention to detail regarding scheduling. There has only been one time that there was an error. The staff is very good. The services have made my life easier because I feel like the client is in good hands when I leave.

I can't say enough good things about Right At Home. My Mom has severe Parkinson's and needed immediate care. Each and every caregiver we used was fantastic!! All the girls were professional, courteous and friendly and genuinely cared for my Mom as if she were their own. They never let us down. I highly recommend Right At Home in Batavia/ Naperville. Erica and Kathy are wonderful to work with.

Somebody comes out once a week, four hours at a time from Right at Home. They just come and pick up my mom and sometimes get her hair done. They also go for dinner and shopping -- very nice. The same lady comes every week, and overall I am happy with them. Scheduling is fine, and they charge me on my credit card, which is very easy that way.
