Since our inception in 1985, Wisdom Eldercare has been independently owned, locally operated and a trusted partner in offering outstanding caregivers and care management services for older adults in the Chicagoland area. Wisdom Eldercare’s experienced, professional caregivers are carefully chosen after an extensive interview and a meticulous national background screening, drug testing, and fingerprint clearance.
Our care management and leadership team is comprised of Master's level geriatric specialists, who can guide you through the care journey, offering advice and support. Our Health and Wellness Advisor, Larry LaPalio, MD, is board-certified in geriatrics and palliative care, and is available for consultation as needed.

Wisdom Eldercare provided caretaker services to my wife and myself. for a period of three plus months at the end of my wife's battle with Lewy Body Dementia. At the end of this period my wife had became consumed by fear and anxiety, becoming combative and defiant in many ways. Kaneisha (along with Khamari and others) were timely, and so patient and generous in their dealings with my wife Ingrid during this challenging time. Their kindness was so valuable at a most difficult time.
The CEO, Gina, was very professional, responsive and compassionate during the whole process - from her initial visit to us at a rehab center to the kind and caring words after my wife had passed away.
Their overall service was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

When my family needed home care for mom with only 24 hour notice, Wisdom Eldercare was ready with the help we needed. The staff was caring and empathetic. They kept mom safe and gave her the guidance and confidence needed to make a transition into a new level of care.

A heartfelt thank you for rescuing us when we needed immediate 24x7 in-home help caring for a family member in a health crisis! Getting help that fast was a miracle, and Ricky and Tai both did an outstanding job of monitoring the situation, lending a hand wherever they could, speaking up in a helpful way to assist with care decisions, and being patient and kind with all of us in a time of extreme stress. Absolutely recommended!

Wisdom Eldercare has been amazing to work with. From the time that my husband needed 24/7 care, to the time that he needed just day care, to now that he needs care on a when needed basis, Wisdom has come through with wonderful caregivers. Anthony has been with my husband from the beginning, when he needed 24/7 care until present day when we need help on a when needed basis. He is a professional in every sense of the word, has a wonderful attitude and is just the kind of person that my husband has needed all along. We are so thankful that we met him and that he continues to help my husband. We highly recommend Wisdom to anyone who needs home care.

Wisdom Eldercare has done a wonderful job providing for my father’s 24 hour care. His caregivers are true professionals - timely, dependable, knowledgeable and kind. In addition, the Wisdom Eldercare staff’s responsiveness has been truly exemplary. Whenever there’s been an issue, the staff has come up with a timely and good solution. Wisdom Eldercare found a caregiver that was perfectly compatible with my mom. The caregiver that worked with my mom provided great companionship and helped my mom get through a difficult time. You can tell she truly cared. The caregiver was extremely reliable and always showed up on time. I highly recommend Wisdom Eldercare!

I owe my life to Michelle, who works for Wisdom Elder Care. I became critically ill when my husband died. When I understood that I needed help, I fortunately contacted Wisdom Elder Care for this help. The person they provided for me got me through many critical episodes. I ended up needing a Liver Transplant. Michelle stayed with me before, throughout and my final recovery. She was efficient, capable and sympathetic. The office was highly professional a pleasure to deal with. I would very much advise anyone who needs help to use their services.
