About This Community
Interim HealthCare of Fort Lauderdale's personal care and support services fill the gaps in whatever way each family needs. We provide care services throughout Broward County from our office located in Ft. Lauderdale. Our caregivers are local, too – trained, skilled, competent, and personable. It’s also important to note, each of our caregivers go thru a rigorous background screening process (Level 2) before becoming an employee of our office. In addition, our organization is insured & bonded and state licensed.
We provide personal care typically addressing activities of daily living, or ADLs, that are essential for independent living. This includes:
Dressing
Eating
Toileting and continence
Transferring and mobility ( Standing,sitting, getting in and out of bed or the car )
Support services take care further, providing assistance with tasks such as:
Light Housework
Laundry
Shopping
Transportation to the doctor's
Meal Planning and Preparation
Writing letters or making appointments
Reminding loved ones when to take their medications
