My wife hasn't been willing to have the care as much, but they could help her feel more comfortable with them coming.
I would recommend HomeWell Care Services more if they could do more in convincing my wife that she needs their services.

The companionship has been the most helpful. He moved in with us and he said he is happy that he has his Home Well girls.
I like that they have been great to work with when we have to make changes to the schedule and things have happened in a timely manner.

Just having the extra assistance really helped Dad with his transition.
I would absolutely recommend them. Another agency called HomeWell, because they couldn't cover us. They stepped up within 24 hours. They were very transparent. They were there in a pinch.

With caregivers, I can talk to them and have them help me. The pandemic has made staffing hard. There is a lot of cancellations.
They can't seem to find caregivers to come over.

The caregiver was brand new. They could have a little bit more common sense. I had her go to a certain car wash so that she could get the inside and outside washed and my mom told her not to do the inside, so she did not. They just spent a lot of money and did not get the inside cleaned out.
I liked that they got back to me right away and they were friendly.

They needed to be able to get him into bed and they didn't do that. I had to help them myself. They were told about it, they said they were trained, and they were not.
My husband needed to use a Hoyer lift and they were not trained on that.

It has improved my life at least half way. It is not the agencies fault but just my health issues. I would like to have more than 13 hours of care a week. The staff have had problems trying to get me to my different appointments. It makes me feel guilty sometimes when I ask them to do things for me when.
I would recommend them to everyone. They have a more personal approach.

It is because of the caregiver, Sue. She is much better than the two other caregivers they sent. She is more suitable education-wise, keeping Jack company, and suitable for talking about what is going on in the news.
They kept working with me to find the right person. They understood how important it was to me. I was not looking for someone to clean the house or do other busy work. I wanted someone who seriously took an interest in Jack while I was gone.

They take care of all the logistics of finding people to cover, they have tried to solve any problem that has arisen.
They are very conscientious and seem to hire very quality, caring people. I have never had issue with them getting coverage when a caregiver is sick.

I used HomeWell Senior Care three times now. They were very good and very fast. However, I had a problem with communication. One person arrived, and she said she didn't expect to do any housework; she thought she would be just taking care of an elderly person. I talked to Homewell about it, and they said that they told them it was for housework. Communication does not work well, but other than that, I did get some really good work done. Right now, I won't need to have them in again, but if something changes, then I would be willing to use them again. They're doing housework that I'm not able to do -- e.g., vacuuming, cleaning the bathroom, the dishes, laundry, cleaning fridge and stove.

There was a time when dad was incontinent. Homewell Senior Care came on in and assisted dad with the living arrangements over at a home. They did it with a lot of class and dad really enjoyed having company there. The people were not only professional but almost like family. They really were very nice. They're not only friendly and professional but they were available when needed as well. They went above and beyond.
When dad was in a rehab center down in Vegas, he ended up getting bedsores on his feet. They took dad over to doctors and had to go into a wound care center over at St. Anthony's Hospital. They helped dad get there and back. They're very caring and they made a lot of part of dad's life as pleasant as we could possibly be imagine. He was going through a very difficult time and despite dad's upfront objection, he got to like the people. So it worked out well.

My daughter found HomeWell. They're pretty good at what they do. I like the caregiver. She's very helpful, friendly and nice. We've been using them for more than a year now. We're satisfied with their care and I would surely recommend them to others.

My experience with HomeWell Senior Care has been very good. They're very responsive to my concerns. The girls are just awesome. They work really well with my parents. My parents are very elderly, and my mom has alzheimers. They're really good about having the right attitude in dealing with my parents. They do everything for them.
