Right at Home provides personalized in-home care and support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our caregivers are trained to help with everyday tasks that have become challenging. This may include meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, personal hygiene, medication reminders, mobility assistance, transportation and other tasks. We offer services for those with special care situations such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease and other dementias; diabetes; stroke recovery; and hospice care. Custom Care Plan
We know everyone’s needs are different, so we create custom, client-centered care plans based on our unique five-step approach to care. We take time to get to know you by discussing your health history, physical and cognitive abilities, daily routines, and personal lifestyle and preferences. This conversation is important to us because we want to help you determine the level and types of care you need and match you with the best caregiver to help you continue to live successfully at home, or wherever you call home.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
When you choose Right at Home, you can rest assured that our caregivers will deliver the care you or your loved one needs. Every caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. We provide initial caregiver training through our Right at Home University before they can provide care, and we provide ongoing training to support best care practices. All of our caregivers are employed by Right at Home and are bonded and insured.

He needs his hair washed and his nails need to be cleaned and cut. He needs help with the shaver but he won't let us do that. It's not her fault. She talks to him and plays the piano for him.
We are kind of an impasse and I do not know what to do because the client is a very private person so he won't let them help him with grooming and dressing. That is what we needed them to do when we hired them. We need to help him in the shower and get him cleaner.

He's much happier when he gets his visit.

Right at Home is extremely helpful, but it is hard to get everything done and afford the care. The caregivers seem to be worth their money, get the job done in a hurry but still accomplish a lot.
Right at Home sends people who seem to be qualified and do the job right. We had a few people at first who didn't do so well, but the caregivers we have now do a good job.

I would recommend Right at Home because I can deal with them with a conversation away, and there doesn't seem to be a lot of hoops to jump through to get things done. Everything always seems very reasonable. They do everything they can do.

I really like the girl I had as a person, but I needed a housekeeper. She didn't know more about housekeeping than a two-year-old.
They changed on me. I thought I was paying an hourly wage, and when I used the service to go to the doctor for two hours, I paid two hours. The last time I went, it was two hours, and they charged me for three. If it is twenty minutes over two hours, then it is three hours.

All of the people Right at Home sent up here have been very good about what I've asked them to do. There was only one problem with one person and I asked them not to send that person back. I haven't seen her since. They help me use the bathroom and even help with getting out of the bed and folding laundry. I've gotten complete help from everybody.

Before we had them, there was not a lot of interaction going on, so she was withdrawn. Now, since she has that, she is more alive. You can see it in her eyes and in the way she interacts with people.
I like that the caregiver we have has taken it very personal. My mother's communication with her makes my mother feel happy and safe on a daily basis.

She was very happy to be able to have a selection of places to go to, as well as my siblings who went to the different places. It was new to all of us and we were grateful.

The folks on the phone are easy to deal with. The billing system is easy. We've had three separate caregivers, and all three are very attentive and interested in the well-being of my dad. They help him out of bed, bathe him, and brush his teeth. They are really terrific with him, and they don't embarrass him. They're really sensitive to his psyche, and it's super helpful for us.

I would recommend Right at Home because of the very quality service that I get from them. I'm enjoying the service, but I could get along without it. I'm an elderly man and I do everything for myself except for the cooking. That is the only service that I am receiving, so I am getting a more balanced diet than I was by myself.
