Personal, In-Home Care for Seniors

At Home Care Friends, our goal is to help our clients achieve the best quality of life possible. We understand that one solution does not fit every situation so we take the time to listen and learn about each client's needs and preferences. This enables us to tailor a care program that maximizes the client's independence and dignity. We are one of the most affordable agencies out there with management taking a caring approach with the client by checking on them periodically and doing monthly evaluations on the caregivers.

We are a veteran owned family business that treats our veterans and clients as heroes. We utilize experienced and compassionate caregivers who are CPR certified, Certified Nursing Assistants, and Medical Assistants.

We are requiring our caregivers to go through a course to become certified through 1-Day Caregiver Training. This new course will go in depth beyond your usual training in school and concentrate on the care at home aspects. We will be providing more information about this soon.

We are a home care agency that specializes in live-in care, hourly care, respite care, transportation, and all personal non-medical care.

We have been using Home Care Friend for my nephew for about a month now. I don't really need most of the serivces they offer at this point. He is able to dress himself and feed himself. It is mostly a cognitive issue. The person just helps him with very minor things, like they make dinner for him and might help him put a DVD in. They watch over him. They may help him with meds, but it depends on when his sister gets back from work. It is more of companionship. It is the same care giver that comes for about 5 hours, 3-4 days a week. Working with them is fine. There was no problem. I guess the pricing is good, and the caregiver is very good.

I have Home Care Friends for my mom. The caregiver is staying with her four hours a day to help her shower, bring her snacks, and does light housekeeping. She's wonderful, and we love her. Mom is doing a lot better now. Even her doctor is surprised how much better she has been. The caregiver also does medication reminders, which is wonderful because Mom is forgetting sometimes to take her albuterol treatment after I left for work. It really has helped a lot, which made all the difference in the world.

Homecare Friends was terrific. We used them a couple of months ago. They provided a caregiver to stay with my father to help him in his everyday activities. She came three days a week for six hours a day. The agency's billing and scheduling was excellent. We were satisfied with their service.

My experience has been personal in regard to Mr. Alaniz and Mrs. Alaniz and Geneva. All three were friendly, helpful and available to my requests and gracious in making adjustments to changes I needed as my medical needs became more clear. Geneva was personable, attentive, has a great sense of humor, and a resourseful conversationalist. She anticipates what is to be done and goes ahead with taking care of it. She is also sensitive and respectful to her client and to her client's home and surroundings. I hope Geneva will be available again when my health needs home care help.

Robert's service was recommended to me. For the most part, the caregivers were quite good. My main caregiver works on Friday and Saturday. She prepares my meals and some light house chores. I can't stand on my left leg that long because it hurts. So far their service is good.

I love Home Care Friends. I used them initially 2 years ago for my husband until he passed away. When I felt that I needed help, I decided to keep them with me and use their service. I am using them now for about a year for myself. I just love the management and the girls they provided. They are so nice and so good to me. They do my cooking for me and other household chores. They take me shopping every now and then. I have recommended Home Care Friends to my neighborhood here.
