My father-in-law is in Artman, and they do a pretty good job. They help him with some things. I feel like this is a place I would recommend. It's clean. They're attentive, and they have activities. He has just an efficiency, and then you would go out to the dining room for your eating and things like that. I had the food, and it's geared towards a senior citizen. They were very conscious of the amount of salt they put in the food and things like that, but the food is OK. They have entertainment with singing, movies, bingo, and things like that. The staff is very good. The building is a little older, but clean. You have to have a certain amount of savings to be able to go here.

My loved one is in Artman. The people there are very compassionate. The food is decent. It has just been redone. It is a very nice facility with physical, occupational and speech therapy. They play bingo with them and find something that he likes to do, then do it.

The rooms are beautiful at Artman. You have a choice from studio to two bedroom. The staff is excellent, and I met the director. They have a 6 month waiting list. They have workout rooms, and a nice pool.

Everyone on the Staff, from the nurses to the finance people to the rabbis were more then helpful. They were very professional yet also very friendly making strides to make my great grandmother feel great in her last days.

Artman home in Ambler is a nice facility. The staff is for the most part kind and friendly. The accommodations are average but remodeling is in the plan I am told. They provide activities but the environment is not as stimulating for elders that are cognitively aware as I would like. I would also like more thorough and progressive careplans to avoid physical decline.

Business brought me into the heart of this facility and there is nothing I can find negative. My inside travels clearly showed the staff to be well above average in every way. The sincerity and care is easy to see in the interplay between the staff and the residents; there is laughter, camaraderie, respect and genuine interest which shine through. I saw and felt genuine relationships and friendships.
On one visit I was in awe watching a young aide wheeling a crying resident down the hall; the aide was pushing with one hand while using her other to soothe the woman by rubbing her shoulder and play with her hair. She then leaned over rubbed her cheek and said "we can't have this...let's go and find something we can do for fun."
My overall feelings were confident and comfortable. I would (and have) happily referred to this facility. I would have no hesitation if the need arose to place one of my own loved one's into these caring hands.
