Living a Good Life

I visited this facility with my mom. This is an older type of facility but it was updated. It was very clean, has a nice walking trail with trees all around and it was surprisingly quiet. The studio rooms were very small; however, the single bedroom had a nice size with a little dining area with a stove. The staff was really nice and they were mostly locals.
I haven't seen the residents doing the activities but I heard they have a lot. For instance, they organize outings to different local attractions, play card games, go to movies and even
trips overseas.

My grandmother has received top notch care since she started living in Southampton Estates. She enjoys the activities they provide and the friends she has made. They provide excellent meals and enough options for her to eat in the dining facility or have meals in her room. She can receive safe and reliable transportation to the grocery store and the mall. We feel very secure with her living there as there is a security system in place and security guards always staff the main gates and the property. The nurses and aides are extremely kind and professional. We have never had any questions regarding her safety or care and she has never complained about any type of mistreatment. We have met many of the people on staff and have be treated with nothing but courtesy and compassion. The facilities are immaculate and always well groomed. It is positively lovely there in the spring and summer months, they do a great job making the gardens beautiful, especially around the walking paths.
