My aunt moved into Allay Senior Care of Meyers Lake. The staff needs to be a little bit cleaner at the dining room table. I know everybody is a bit short-handed. The average rating was because of the cleanliness after they had dinner, and we've had an incident where she was supposed to have a doctor's appointment and they were to have her ready and the staff didn't communicate with the other staff to let them be aware of that. So then she wasn't ready for her appointment. So they have a lack of communication with each other. She said the food is terrible. She doesn't seem to be very pleased with the food. I like the facility. That was one reason I chose it, the facility where she's at was very bright and just seemed more cheerful than the other building they had.

We went to Allay Senior Care of Meyers and we liked it. It's a smaller place, but the rooms were awesome, Melissa was wonderful, and she couldn't have been nicer. The place was clean and the people were nice. She went out of her way to show us everything, even, all the amenities, and where they have arts and crafts and stuff like that and the rooms and the barbershop and whatever they have. She showed us and it was very nice. It was homier. They have a patio in the back. The residents were walking around. They talked to every nurse and person there. They all know him by name, and that was impressive too.
