Every weekend, Sundays to be more specific, my father and I visit him and or take him on home visit for a few hours. The nurses that take care of my grandpa have been really well organized as well as nice. Medications and meals have been on time and accurate. He is in his own room with as much privacy as he want's, the nurses have been really good to knock and say there name before they enter upon approval. In the assisted living program there are not allowed any pets, so this was a big upset to grandpa. Bathrooms are very well set up with grab bars and wheel chair accessibility to the sink and the shower. One of the biggest features the place has to offer is their life line service. If he were to fall there are censors on the floor that will set off a silent alarm to a panel for emergency contact.

I visited Hultquist Place not too long ago and it was not what I expected. I thought an assisted living would be very hum drum and dry. Boy, was I wrong! Walking into Hultquist Place is truly an experience! It is very much like living in luxury. The wall hangings of local artists and color of the walls are beautiful. Decorations in every room of Hultquist are very eye catching, including the huge flat screen television and laptop computers. Not what I was expecting out of assisted living. The staff were very friendly and helpful and respectful of me. This building has 2 floors with an elevator, so you don't need to worry about the stairs. The food they serve is very gourmet like. When I was at Huultquist, they were serving Chicken Cor Don Bleu, which looked mighty good indeed. I had to taste it! What a wonderful gourmet dish! The rooms there are big and you have your choice to a single apartment or 1-2 bedrooms. They allow pets as well! The rooms are very spacious and bright and quiet. If you need help with appointments, or going out for the day, local attractions etc, the staff are more than helpful with making arrangements for you and helping you. They also have lots of activities going on. They have exercises you can participate in, bingo (my favorite!), Wii Sports and Fitness, holiday gatherings and parties, along with outside, local tours such as wineries and christmas displays. I would highly recommend making a visit.
