Westwood Place is an assisted living residence licensed by the State of Minnesota, and approved by Carver County for MA, Elderly Waiver, Alt. Care, Blue Plus, Health Partners, Medica Assistance, and more. The community provides companionship, daily activities, and 24-hour supervision by community personnel. Westwood Place's services are for seniors who are able to take care of basic needs, but who have difficulty with cooking meals, or who need transportation to the clinic, pharmacy, hair appointments, etc.

Stay away from this facility, their call lights don’t work at all. They have one activity, the food is mediocre and the people running it are incompetent.

Community based residential facility with many activities to partake in, and those looking for a quiet, close knit community will much appreciate Westwood. Due to its smaller size, many clients are familiar with the neighborhood and community, however, this many not be suitable for those seeking anonymity. On the positive side, familial atmosphere.

It used to be an old hospital, so it still has hospital rooms. The one that I looked at, you could get an adjoining one. If I were to go there, I would ask for one like that. Everybody was kind of quiet. The dining facility was beautiful. I was very pleased with the staff during my visit; they did well. I would recommend Westwood Place.
