What I like best about Arcadia of Denton II is the staff. They have been there a really long time and that was important to me. My mom has a very nice room. It's very small, but in a good way. It has a great floorplan. It is very clean and smells like a home. I think there were only 16 beds, so the staff to resident ratio is pretty good.

I toured Arcadia of Denton II and it was very nice and very, very welcoming. The staff was very, very pleasant and very nice.
I liked the rooms there and I liked the room that she is going to have for me. They had Alzheimer's patients and I was not interested in being in there with those people right now.
The dining area was nice and clean. I also saw the sleeping room, the living room, and the playrooms. They were small but nice. Everything looked nice to me. Even as you are approaching the place, it looked very well kept.
I probably would have taken that one, but I just didn't feel right being in there. I am only 61 and most of those patients are a lot older and I'm not exactly there yet. I'm still walking around, and I still do things, moving and driving.
What they had is a separate room. It's right on the first floor, and I didn't have to go up the steps. It was separated from the rest. They also said that if I wanted a bigger bed or something like that, I could bring my own bed. That was the nice part about it.
