I thought Brightview Concord River was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were beautiful. The place was beautiful. It just was all about price range.
The staff was very nice. When we were walking around, they knew the residents' names and stopped and talked to them. The residents seemed like they were pretty happy.
Their rooms were beautiful. They were bigger. They were brighter and definitely bigger, but that's where the price came in. They were quite a bit more money.
They had different things going on, so I think it was upbeat. They had activities going on while I was there.

I selected Brightview for my Mom as it was very close to my home. My mom has Parkinson's. During my initial visit at the facility, I was told that they had several Parkinson's patients. A nurse from Brightview did an in-home assessment and we were good to go. The first night we were there, (I stayed with my Mom the first night), an Aide shoved a pill in my Mom's mouth. The food delivered to my Mom's room was usually cold. I reported this to the facility. I was advised by the staff that my Mom required a 3 person lift. I bought a lift chair and a gait belt. My Mom was recently hospitalized. When I got home from the hospital, there was a voicemail from the facility that they could not meet my Mom's level of care and gave me ONE day to find another facility for her. Now perhaps I was naive to believe the representative who made the pitch during the initial interview. She made it seem that they could handle my Mom's limitations. I also thought the whole point of the nurse's assessment was to determine if they could meet her needs. I feel that I was badly mislead and on top of that, giving someone only 24 hours to find another facility is cruel and totally non-empathetic. My advise is to question them closely before placing a parent here

My mom moved into Brightview Concord River. Pricing was transparent, so we've been paying what they told us. Everybody has been very nice, my mother has had to adjust to going there, but she likes everybody. She said the food is excellent. My whole family is very happy. They have bingo, they go out now that the COVID restrictions have been lifted, they have a small bus that they go out into. They've gone out to eat, they've gone sightseeing. It seems like once a week they have a live band, just yesterday they had a car show there with a lot of vintage cars, and I believe the public has been invited, there were a lot of people there.

We chose Brightview Concord River for my mom. It had good price, good community, and caring staff. It checked a lot of our boxes, and it was reasonable on the prices. I saw both care levels: assisted care and memory care.
We liked the quality of the environment, the community services, where it was located, and the care level that I observed from the staff. I saw the staff in action. The room was really nice.
The place was clean. I had a two-hour tour and spent most of the time talking to the director, but it seemed very clean and an organized.

Brightview Concord River is fine, but the cost is extreme. It was a nice facility. They had a lot to offer. The rooms were nice. When the time comes, it would be a place I would consider. They have activities like daytrips and games. They were having lunch when my daughter and I went there. The dining facility was very nice. They had large, round tables. Everything was very clean and very neat. The residents seemed happy. The food was OK.

Brightview was a very nice facility. It’s new, and it’s not convenient for walking. There wasn’t really much of any place to walk outside, but it’s near a major highway north of Boston so the access for people coming to visit is easy. It was pleasant and clean, and the people were nice. It seemed like a very nice facility for people who would be mainly within the facility. Someone took me around to visit. She was very pleasant. I just popped in to Brightview, and they were very nice about taking me even though I was unannounced.

My mother was a resident there for 1 year following my father's death. She was on their Wellspring unit which catered to those suffering with Alzheimer's and dementia. The entire staff were caring. She got the best of care while she was there. Besides the beautiful facility they provided wonderful meals and always had great activities. They always encouraged family participation. This was a 5 star hotel in my book with all the amenities!
