At Sunrise of Belmont, there was a little workout routine going on in the lobby, which was great to see. People were sitting in the wheelchairs and walkers throwing balls to each other and that sort of thing, and that looked quite good.
I like Sunrise of Belmont. It's well situated. It's the best one, and the reason is that right around it, there are restaurants and stores. There's a Safeway nearby. In terms of visiting and being able to easily go out to get a bite to eat or do something, it's very easy. It was the one we like the best so far. There's an exercise class going on.

We toured Sunrise of Belmont and we were very impressed. It's a beautiful facility and it seems to be run very well. If we were to decide right now, that would have been our first choice. The one drawback it had was that it didn't offer what I referred to as a one-bedroom, like having a bedroom separate from the living quarters and the kitchen area. Otherwise, everything was wonderful. It's clean, they're friendly, and they offer everything.

I liked Sunrise of Belmont a lot, and they also have memory care. It was a beautiful mini-mansion. I love the location, and the facility is beautiful. I also liked that the new executive manager came from a nursing background; he was a medic in the navy. And he's young. So he has what I enjoyed at most of the facilities I've felt best about: they had someone at the top who had a medical background. And they just have a different approach to a lot of different aspects of the facility. So it was a good one, and I really enjoyed that one. They gave me a gift bag, and I actually have used the things that were in it. She gave me a little journal, and she gave me this memory game that you can play with any age group. I thought that was a really smart idea. I think the apartments were smaller than what I was looking for. But I have to remember, it is assisted living and not independent. I saw people out and about. The facility was very nicely cared for, and they have the things I was looking for, like raised crates that the clients can garden in and things like that. I really thought that was smart. It was a day when the tour guide was not available, so the executive took me around, but that's not his forte. But he's very, very kind.

Sunrise of Belmont was in a beautiful location and it's a lot cheaper than what we're paying at another facility, but it didn't fit my sister's needs. They had a beautiful room where she could be in, a nice lounge, you can go down and order your food, and they had activities. It's absolutely beautiful. If I was old and I had money, I'd love to stay there. The dining room was beautiful. It's like going to a regular restaurant, they had a cook on board, they had menus, and you could order what you want and need.

Sunrise of Belmont was very good. It was a very nice facility with lots of trees. The staff members were very friendly. It has an open floor plan, and the rooms were nice and average in size. The food looked quite good and there was a nice selection.

Sunrise is kind of fancy and more expensive than the others but doesn't seem to offer more. It has a very nice dining room area, community area, computers, and everything but it wasn’t the best for my father; the cost was the issue. It was very clean, well maintained, bright, and homey.

The rooms at Sunrise of Belmont were medium-sized, nice, and clean. It looked and felt like an old mansion. The dining area was relatively nice. The main sales people were not there, but I got a nice tour, and the people who should have been meeting with me were on vacation. They had a sitting area and a fireplace downstairs.

Sunrise of Belmont was probably our second choice, but they did not have a walk-in shower in the rooms, which my dad needs. Otherwise, I would recommend the place. The staff was very friendly, eager to take care of the residents, and made sure everybody participated and got out of their rooms. They had an activity room, exercise therapy, library, and a common room for TV and gatherings.

Sunrise of Belmont was very beautiful and large, but they had only one floor for memory care. I had recommended it to somebody because the setting was really nice. The staff was very nice, and it was a good place.

I am a resident of Sunrise of Belmont. It's a friendly place, which is important for my being able to enjoy other people. It has an institutional feel to it. My apartment is lovely. Their food is not home-cooked, but it is fine. I am able to participate in a few of their activities.

The staff at Sunrise of Belmont, who was showing us around, was very pleasant. At that time, they had someone there singing to them. The dining room was very pleasant, very spacious, very nice, and comforting. They did offer me a very nice meal. The only negative thing was that the rooms were small. It was a homey, medium-sized place.

I would give Sunrise of Belmont a 5-star rating. They have all the levels of care. I chose it for my aunt. Hopefully, she will not change her mind and move in. They had nice menus.

Going through the communities in the area that had memory care facilities, Sunrise of Belmont seemed to be the one that fit my mother the best. The patients are really well cared for. The caregivers are the best part of that facility. I was extremely impressed with how much they take care of them and how they treat them like family. I am really happy with them. She has been there about two months now. The apartments are very nice. She has got a nice big bedroom with a big window. She has her own private bathroom, sink, and refrigerator, and it's very clean and very nice. I've eaten there, and the food is very good. I like the food because the portion control is really good. They don't overfeed anybody. The dining area is very nice and very clean. The sitting room downstairs looks like a lobby of a hotel. It's very homey and very welcoming. Two to three times a week, they'll go on either a picnic or they get on the bus and go on scenic drives. They have arts, sing-alongs, exercising during the day -- just a multitude of different activities throughout the day to keep them busy. I really like everything they do with the residents, and it doesn't have an institutionalized feeling.

They are wonderful at Sunrise of Belmont. They gave us a lot of advice and accurate information. The rooms are more spacious than what I expected, and they have nice windows. They are well kept up. The food is good. They offer coffee, juice, and fruits at any time. They also have multiple activities posted during the week and during the day at multiple places. They have a bistro that is open most hours, and they had a walk-in tub. They have movie nights and social hours.

I didn’t really like the staff at Sunrise of Belmont. They were okay, but they didn’t come quickly when somebody calls or someone is complaining. I heard one say, "Oh let her complain for a while". The rooms there were a little smaller, but they were nice and clean. They would allow you to bring in your own stuff to make it homey which is nice.

There were a lot of things to do at Sunrise of Belmont. The facility was fine and there was nothing wrong with. In fact, my daughter's mother-in-law was there and she is quite happy with the facility. Everybody was fine.

Sunrise was excellent, the people were nice and they had plenty of activities than the other place.

When i visited Sunrise assisted living facility, I had a very calm experience. Although I did not know any senior personally, I was able to meet and talk with whoever I pleased. I was able to help the seniors during their activities such as arts and crafts, bingo, and even played a World War II veteran chess. If there could be any improvements, I would say it begins with the staff. Although it must be extremely difficult at times to always be cheerful when the Seniors are not, the staff has a huge effect on the seniors attitudes. Furthermore, I believe that it is sad for those seniors whose children never keep in contact with them once they're in a home. Its disgusting.

This is an okay, very expensive place if your loved one is in a wheelchair or on a walker. The windows do not open more than 2 inches and only with brute force. The staff is very understaffed and not that friendly. My dad was bedridden and they brought him lunch so late, hardly checked on him, treated him poorly, so I moved him after a month's stay. I would never ever put a bedridden loved one in here. The top man is not nice or caring in any way.
