The Pointe Frontier Retirement was lovely. We enjoyed the tour. The people were very knowledgeable. Everything was good, so it was very positive. It was very nice because it was right behind a mall. So if someone was in a walking condition, you could just walk over to the mall. They provide the meals. They pretty much have everything except a pool. We saw two different two-bedroom units with new carpeting, and they looked very nice. On Fridays, they had liquor available at their open house.

My mom will move into Pointe Frontier Retirement. It's beautiful. The tour was wonderful. The staff is fantastic. The room is a small apartment, but it's beautiful. It's got nice big windows with good blinds, and it's very accessible for my mom. I think it's going to be perfect. The staff seems wonderful. The surroundings are very nice. With Covid, I couldn't check out all of the areas, but everything that is on the floor that Mom will be on is very nice, e.g., the dining room, the exercise area, and the music area. Those types of things are very nice.

This facility has been an excellent place for my elderly father. He came to live in Cheyenne after being in his own home in another state. He needs dialysis three days per week so Pointe Frontier staff drive him. They have been wonderful about getting him adjusted to the routine and getting him involved in activities. The staff has been wonderful during the two years he has been there. They are always helpful, sincere and caring. When I have had to leave town, the staff has been willing to keep a closer eye on him and to contact relatives when necessary. For my dad, this retirement community has been just what he needs.

Recently I've been forced to start looking for a retirement community for my mother and one of the ones I looked over was Pointe Frontier Retirement. Despite the fact that she isn't a big fan of the area, both my mother and I were very fond of Point Frontier. The living quarters were nice, if fairly simple. The grounds are clearly well taken care of, we were told of a number of clubs, book and sewing and bible studies as well as a few others. An on-site library, and my mother in particular was quite excited about the salad bar. One of the things I rather liked was the option of independent and assisted living meaning my mother can start out independent and if she needs it, can move over to assisted. Overall, a very nice place for my mother to live out her golden years. I however did have three complaints; they don't take medicare, rent is month to month with no pre-paid options I could find, and the lady giving us a tour seemed to be at best apathetic and rude. Other staff I saw seemed polite, but the one I was dealing with personally seemed to want to spit in my face more than shake my hanhd.
