I toured Rolling Meadows Place. I like it. It's very clean. It smells good. The administration and all the workers seemed very friendly and very caring. They seemed to have a good rapport with the residents. The facility was very nice. I liked that they had a beautiful dining area and then they had a private dining area for just the family if you wanted to have that. It was just very nice. They had a movie theater area. They have a lot of activities. Overall, it was very positive. The social workers are very good. They have contacted me and have given me information and so forth. It is just A1.

Rolling Meadows Place was very nice and very clean. The staff was very helpful and explained everything. They had bingo and movie night. They had a lot of stuff that they could keep the patients active. The bathrooms and rooms are clean. It was just nice.

We moved my mother from Rolling Meadows Place. They were wonderful at first, but I don't know what happened. The food at first was amazing, and that kind of went downhill, and they didn't have enough staff. The cleanliness was not good either. The rooms were nice sized. They had like a mini-fridge in them. There were ones that had a sink, but Mom was not in one that had an out of the bathroom sink. Any dishes that she accumulated, we would have to wash in the bathroom, which wasn't really a big deal. The final straw was just the price. It was probably 30 percent higher than where she is now. The location was good. They should have adequate staffing. The regular staff that's there was excellent, they just did not have enough of them to provide the care that they would like to. They had bingo. I think they had people who played the piano. They used to do arts and crafts and do outings, but they stopped that. The price that they charge and what they provide was not consistent.

The staff of Rolling Meadows Place was friendly and the facility was clean. The concern we had was that the management was not on site, therefore, we did not know anything about the cost. We saw four empty rooms that could be used for my mom, the activity room, the entrance to the beauty shop, and the dining room. The person who gave us the tour though did not work there, so she was not familiar with the facility.
