This is an amazing facility! My grandmother lived by herself until she was 90 years old, but after she fell and broke her hip she was unable to care for herself. We never wanted her to have to leave her home. She knew she needed 24 hour, so she chose the Grenich Care Home. Everyone there made the last year of her life comfortable and absolutely amazing. They loved her and treated her like their own family, and every time I visited she always looked her best and was happy to be there. No matter when we would visit they would always make us feel at home and offer drinks, refreshments, a chair or even a more private area to visit with her. They were always cooking homemade meals and doing some kind of activity with the residents. I am forever grateful to Mellissa R. and her staff!

Grenich Care Home is an actual converted home so it's all accessible. The physical environment is not quite as nice, but the staff was wonderful, very warm, had very good relationships and interactions with the residents, were personable, very welcoming, and were really trying to make it comfortable for families to visit. They have a nice fenced outdoor area in their yard. Theyre really good in terms of customer service and in caring for the residents. They're mostly private with some shared rooms.

Grenich is actually a converted home so when you drive up, it looks like somebody's home with a bunch of cars. The parking space seemed sufficient for what it needed but it was a little odd finding it. The road going to it is run down and it threw me off trying to find it because it looked like a home and then all these cars are there in the driveway. It just seemed a little odd. It's between 15 and 30 minutes away from a hospital.
It seemed very nice, very homey and the people seemed to be caring. The rooms are of comfortable size, maybe a tad small. It's not overly large, just enough for a bed, a dresser, a lounge chair. They have a sitting room, a large family room and a living room. I don't remember if they had a separate dining room but they did have an eat-in kitchen and it was all home cooked meals. It was quite a large family kitchen. I don't know if they had any planned activities other than for special occasions.
