I will be moving into Shorehaven Tower. We like the quality and the location. It's clean, modern, up-to-date, and constantly being improved. The workers seem to be caring and helpful. It's a great place because it's got game rooms where elderly people can go and meet new friends and play games, a gym area where you can work out and walk a treadmill or lift weights, and a pool that's absolutely beautiful.

My aunt lived in both the assisted living and later the health center. There seems to be very little turnover of help so most of the staff has been there for many years. This means that the staff knows the residents and their family

Lutheran Homes of Oconomowoc consists of 3 different facilities. Lake Terrace Apartments, senior living apartments, Shorehaven Tower, assisted living apartments, and Shorehaven, their nursing home facility. All 3 facilities are very well maintained with many amenities for those living there, including an onsite restaurant, a car wash, underground parking, hot tub and more. The staff is very professional and available 24/7. It is located along the shores of beautiful Lac la Belle in Oconomowoc, WI. There are also many programs available for the residents to keep them engaged and entertained. The residents are made to feel at home rather than imprisoned as some senior homes could make you feel. The overall attitude of the residents seems to be very pleasant and they seem to be in good spirits. I would consider this to be a top notice facility and one I would definitively consider for myself when the time comes.
