Since the building was built in 2000, it's owners, Jerry and Suzy Harbort, have devoted their lives to helping seniors adjust to a new stage in life. Both Suzy and Jerry have striven every day to expand the facility and update it continually to bring comfort and joy to every resident.
With over 48 units and 11 different layouts, you won’t have trouble finding a home that fits your taste. You will love our one bedroom and studio apartments that are designed with the elderly in mind.
You’ll never be without support at Prairie Gardens. Our 24-Hr staff and on-site registered nurse are dedicated to providing excellent care. We are here to provide meals, medication management and administration, housekeeping and more.

Mom moved into Prairie Gardens. When we first took her there to tour the place, she immediately liked it. She liked the atmosphere, which was cozy and friendly. The food is wonderful. The plates and the food are always warm. The staff is very attentive, and they keep the call time to five minutes, ten minutes at the most. They come in and they ask if there's anything else that Mom needs help with. Anything we needed was gotten there right away. We are really happy and she's happy. Mom's room has a path for her wheelchair. It has a large bathroom that she could get into, and everything is arranged nicely. The facility is an older building, but is well kept. Within the one week that she's been there, they had a Halloween craft, bingo, and movies. They have a beauty shop on Thursdays.

My visit to Prairie Gardens was fine. I got all my questions answered, and we had a good tour. The apartments were good, they were big, and they were fine. The basic thing that I liked was that the staff had been there for an extended period of time. It was not a big turnover, and so it told me that the care was consistent. The staff was very good, knowledgeable, and fine.

The staff seems very caring of my 95 yr old father. Very few problems with his making the adjustment to the move.

My father fits in very well at Prairie Gardens. He is in an apartment, and it's very nice and very clean. It's roomy enough. It has a kitchenette, a living area, and then a bedroom. The facility seems to be very clean, and I know the cleaning staff comes through a couple of times a day. The staff are all very good. I have been there while he is eating, and the dining room is very nice and very clean. The food has been very good.
