We have chosen Vista Prairie at Brentwood for my mother-in-law. We haven't moved her in; we have just decided to move her there. The staff was super friendly. They said they're going to be super supportive. They reached out all the time if we had more questions. The place is immaculate. It looks like they have a good program for the seniors for exercising, crafts, and eating, and stuff like that. I've only talked to the director and the recruiter; I haven't talked to anybody that is going to be working with my mother-in-law like accompanying her to various functions and stuff like that.

Mom is very happy here. Her apartment is fairly large with a full kitchen, dining area, living room, one bedroom, and one bathroom. They don't have many activities, but the food is good.

I spent two afternoons with the provider and one meal. I was so impressed with the quality of their staff, they seem to put a really effort into patient care. The staff not only seemed competent but invested in the resident's quality of life. The meal was well rounded and served by a very respectful wait staff willing to accommodate any request. They were telling me that one resident asked that his toast be sliced a different way because that's the way his wife did it and they mark his plate in the morning to make sure the request is granted. The facility is beautiful and very comfortable. It has enough privacy to allow the resident to live how they would like while taking away some of the daily stressors. They also had a nice patio and garden put in making the yard useable and homey. I would have no problem living in a home like this when the time comes.
