Because we offer a full continuum of care ranging from independent Apartments through Skilled Nursing services, we can accommodate virtually any level of care one may require. Residents living in the Apartments have the availability to purchase nursing assistance and other services on an á la carte basis. Our Assisted Living licensure offers up to 28 hours per week of combined nursing services to meet the needs of individuals who may require assistance with their activities of daily living. Our Memory Care Center offers a stimulating, safe and secure environment for individuals who suffer from mild to moderate memory loss. The Rehabilitation Center is able to meet clinical needs of individuals recovering from joint replacement, heart attack, stroke or an injury from a fall. Although this area of the campus is geared for post-hospital recovery, we do offer long-term placement, respite care, and end-of-life care as well.

Sarah Chudnow was a very big place. I saw a large number of staff, as it was an assisted living, a memory facility, and a physical therapy facility. The staff seemed to be very busy, and I was able to talk to only one girl, and her name was Connie. She was very courteous. She answered all of my questions. The rooms were very spacious. I thought they had the largest rooms of all the facilities that I toured. They were pet friendly. That one probably had the most to offer, but it just seemed a little impersonal to me. It had the feel of a larger hospital rather than a retirement home. As it is a bigger place, my mom would have to walk farther to attend to her dog's needs.

Sarah Chudnow is a wonderful community. I had the opportunity to talk to some volunteers who were there and they rated it highly. They were so gracious and they showed us around. It's clean and the apartments are beautiful, spacious, well-appointed throughout the building. They have wonderful private gardens. The food is great and they have menus.
The staff is attentive and plentiful and genuinely concerned in the people living there. They're very accommodating and care is provided at every level. They have everything and they are amazing. We're not Jewish but that's where we're going when the time comes.

This is a gorgeous place; my mom said she would feel like royalty living here. We were just looking because she came to visit from Florida and she is thinking of where she might move to in the next year or two. We visited with Larry, the sales person, and he was kind enough to arrange for us to have lunch with him so we got to taste the food -- which my mom loved -- and we saw some of the activities as we went on the tour. There is beautiful artwork all through the building, some done by a resident which was nice because it shows they care about the talents of their own people. But it was also nice to see "real" art, not just stuff from some supply house. The staff was so friendly and warm; everyone stopped to greet us, even the volunteer lady in the cafe/sundry shop. There are a lot of community activities so you there are people from outside coming in often, for lectures and musical programs. The day we were there, a program on vision was being presented. This is definitely on my mom's list for the future. Oh! and they accept small animals! That was definitely a plus because she has a cat that she doesn't want to give up!
