I’ve been to Rocky Knoll, and I would recommend it completely. The rooms were a nice size, it was good enough for two beds, but it was just one bed. They have a TV, a lounge chair you can sit in, windows you can look out on, and they keep it really clean, with nice sized bathrooms. It was very comfortable. I could not ask for better people, they walk in with a smile on their face, they were willing to do anything you want them to do, they talk with you, they laugh with you, and I had no complaints whatsoever. The food was wonderful. If I ever need senior living, and I could afford Rocky Knoll, I would go there.

My mom is at Rocky Knoll Health Care. I chose that place because of the amount of activity and the thoughtful kindness of the people. The care there is exceptional. My mom never wanted to go into a nursing home; all her life she said that. Once she went out there, I said to her, "I thought you never wanted to go to a nursing home" because she was having a good time there, and she said, "This is not like a nursing home." It's wonderful. She's been accepted, and she's happy. The staff is wonderful. Every single person she has worked with has been compassionate, thoughtful, and kind. Linda, her day nurse, is just wonderful. If anything changes, she calls me. Pam, the admitting lady, couldn't have done more wonderful. Dan, the social worker, also couldn't have been more wonderful. As far as the food goes, I would say that I was almost a little offended that she ate more out there than she ate of my home cooking. She's doing a wonderful job, is happy, and thriving with people her own age. She's way more conversational than she was before. She was pretty much quiet and trying not to get in anyone's way. Now, she's bubbly, friendly, and joking around. I could not be happier with that place.

Right now, my mother is in Rocky Knoll Health Care Center. The rehab facility is very nicely kept up; adequate parking. The staff has been very courteous and very professional. The rooms are nice; there are windows. The nursing stations are within calling distance if something happens. She’s not fond of the food but it seems to be well-planned food nutrition-wise. They have extracurricular activities. They have music and card games.
