The girl at Willow Brooke Pointe Senior Living was very pleasant and gave me quality time. She was in no hurry, and she followed up with phone calls. The facility was spacious with a lot of windows. The staff members are all very friendly. The upkeep was very good. One thing that I did not like was that they wanted proof 18 months in advance that I could pay. Everything else was very pleasant. The dining room was bright. They had a beauty salon.

My wife moved into Willow Brooke. The facility is excellent and well staffed. The food is bad though. So far, we're pleased with the place. My wife is in a suite room. The suite has its own bathroom and kitchenette. They have bingo. They had live music yesterday.

Willow Brooke Point Senior Living had some nice folks and it's a nice place. I went there a couple of years ago and had lunch with someone from the company, and the food was excellent. The staff were very informative, concerned, and have all the good attributes you could think of. One particular room that I saw was pretty nice because it looked out over a little pond. They had a good dining area as well and it was just very clean. It's a place where I would move if I had to.

The staff at Willow Brooke Point Senior Living are just medicating my dad, and they continuously fight with my mom. She said she signed up for hospice care and she never signed in papers that he was supposed to go to hospice care. The food is average. I sent food to him that improved mental cognition, and they took it all away and threw it out. If I send anything there like nuts or popcorn they say that he coughed on it and throw it out. It's horrible. The food seems to be very, very plain, and there are a lot of complaints about it. They seem to have WiFi or some type of internet connection. They have a little kitchenette so my mom can make her own meals and heat stuff up. My mom says they don't do any physical therapy, which is something they have in their brochure, that they do physical therapy, but they don't do anything. We're paying $5,500 a month for my dad and they're giving him almost no treatment at all. One of the nurses came up and my mom asked if they could help her get to church, because she was having problems with her wheelchair. The nurse said that she's not paying for that care.

Harmony of Stevens Point was run fine, but they mixed everybody together and had people that were not mentally well with people that were mentally well. They had them all eating together and doing the same things, so it was too inter-mixed. The surroundings were very beautiful.

Harmony Commons was very nice but very expensive as well. The staff was very nice, although I did get a message saying that the gal who led me on a tour had left. There really wasn't much I saw. I don't think they had a gathering room, and one of the things I am interested in is trying to find some people that I could be friends with. I think it was great, except the one I mentioned -- a meeting room or common room -- but I didn't see anything that needs to be improved.
