The Addison of Pleasant Prairie was very clean. It's a very large place. It's got more than one floor and they have two dining rooms. The person who gave the tour was nice enough to take me around without an appointment. She was pretty good. The cheapest room she took me into had a view of the rooftop and there was a lot of equipment on the roof. To me, it just doesn't seem that homey. The second one she showed me was bigger and better, but it was more expensive. When you come in, there's a big fireplace right in front of you. A lady was sitting in the area and it was nice. I also went into the room where they do the activities. They could make that area a little more welcoming, but all in all, I would still rate them pretty well.

I thought that the people at The Addison of Pleasant Prairie were very personable. The facility was newer, it was clean, and the rooms were nice. What I disliked was the large size of the facility; it seemed more like a hotel rather than having a more homey feeling. As we were walking around, the staff knew the residents by name and seemed to give them individualized attention. Right now, because of COVID, they're not offering the ability for families to come in and eat with the residents. They have a weekly laundry service as they do with all the other places, and they have the activities director that plans activities throughout the week for the residents. They do have the salon facility available for those who would like to use it.

I would highly recommend Addison of Pleasant Prairie. It's topnotch. My dad is a man and it was a little glitzy, but it was very nice, very upscale, and spacious. They wanted more money though. If things don't work out with the other place, I probably would go to Addison. Everybody was very cordial and informative. I think it's pretty much a brand new place and it's very well kept. It's centrally located to stores and it's still kind of in a little bit of a setting where there are homes and such, but accessible to anything that you need, a pharmacy, a store, or restaurants.

I'm at The Addison of Pleasant Prairie. It's been fine. I've had issues that have come up, but they handled them pretty well. Right now, I just got put back in bed after going to the bathroom. I use a walker myself, but they wheeled me in a wheelchair today. If you've been to an assisted living place, you know you basically try to eat what they give you. Sometimes, I love the cream soups that they have. The main meals, to me, leave quite a bit to be desired. Sometimes they try to put on some special activities, like physical stuff and bingo, and we've been able to get outside even in this kind of weather. The activities are minimal. You won't find a better facility here than The Addison of Pleasant Prairie.

The Addison of Pleasant Prairie is nice, but too big for what we were looking for. The room we saw was nice, big, and more like an apartment. It had two rooms and a separate bedroom, living room, and kitchenette area. The person who gave us the tour was helpful and knowledgeable. The dining area was very nice and restaurant-like, with menus for the residents. They do exercises and have movie nights. They have a schedule of when they go on shopping excursions.

The Addison of Pleasant Prairie was wonderful. It was a beautiful place. The lady there who showed me around was very nice. She followed up with me. Overall, it was a wonderful place to be if you're inclined to be OK with that big of a place. However, I think I like my dad in a smaller community. Other than that, it was a great place. Everybody I talked to there seemed very happy too.

My brother moved into The Addison a month ago. The staff is great. It's a new place with beautiful landscaping. I'm quite impressed. We had a good lunch there. He has a beautiful, brand-new studio apartment. It's a good example of finding a place that has good aesthetics, good motivation for people functioning at a higher level, good quality of life, and opportunities for connecting with people. It has a holistic approach.

The Addison was very nice, but the rooms were smaller. They had activities, like bingo and arts and crafts. The dining area was nice but a little dark.

Mom seems to like The Addison of Pleasant Prairie. It's a brand new place, and it's still small because it is not fully opened yet. It has a very nice dining area, and there are waiters that come to the table and take their orders. It is very nicely done. I had some issues about the medication, but we got it straightened out. Their price is comparable with most places in the area. They have a screen where they post the activities for the day, and they have a shuttle to take the residents to appointments. Some of the staff are friendly and nice.

We chose The Addison for my father and are pleased with it. I am impressed with the professionalism of the staff, and the facility is very nice. The programs seem well managed and an appropriate fit for my father's needs. They have facilities, rooms, and small communities, and a variety of activities like trivia, memory activities, and pet therapy.

My mother moved into The Addison of Pleasant Prairie. I found the place spacious with very good light, very nice and well-maintained ground. The place is being kept very clean and it is well lit. They have a lot of activities. Residents wouldn’t have any trouble getting in and out of the place, and they would be able to do just fine in their wheelchairs. At this point in time, we’re very happy with it. They even have a memory care unit. The hospital is one block away. If a person might need hospice, that’s one block away. It’s good easy access from Interstate 94 too, so that people that come to visit can easily make it there and visit their loved ones.

I was greeted very professionally and nicely by the staff at The Addison of Pleasant Prairie. They were able to answer all of our questions. From the very beginning to the end of the session, they showed us genuine care and gave their presentations wonderfully. They also offered us coffee or water and invited us to come back to their social events. They showed me different rooms, which were all very nice. I was really impressed.
