I went for a tour at Shorehaven. I was absolutely dissatisfied because they did the whole meet and greet, "Oh we love you, he can afford to live here, he can afford to pay rent" and after they smooth talked us with "We can't wait for him to move in." They looked at his financials and said "Oh, he doesn't have $300,000 in assets? You have to know that we're gonna deny him" That was after they did the tour, "Oh here's the library, and this is where he would be eating." going through the whole thing and getting our hopes up. "Oh, his couch will fit perfectly here." I was thinking why didn't you tell me that to begin with? I wouldn't have spent any time going through the whole ... talking with you, having you smooth talk us. It was absolutely horrible. After I was done with Shorehaven, I lost respect for the process. The facility was beautiful. The surroundings are pretty, and the location is fine.

Shorehaven Tower was not as nice as where my mother is at. The rooms were a little smaller and not as nice. The person that assisted me was very nice. We walked through the dining area and it looked very nice. She showed us a room that hadn't been cleaned out yet, but it was not as bright and sunny or airy.

I went to Shorehaven. It was very bright and very clean. They had various programs. They had outdoor activities and activities around the lake. They had a number of pears groups inside. The rooms were very nice. They had some individual rooms. They had transportation in-house. The person that gave me the tour was very knowledgeable.
