About This Community
The most important mission of Willowpark Place, our senior living community, is to care for our residents. We develop individual care plans to meet the needs of each resident, and a full-time registered nurse is available 24 hours a day to provide clinical oversight and coordination of care. Residents in our pet-friendly community can engage in a variety of activities, such as bingo, exercise classes, church services, arts and crafts, happy hour, sing-alongs, and movie night. Willowpark Place did not have memory care. My uncle was there in assisted living for two-and-a-half years, and it was really good. His brother was also there. The staff was very friendly. He did not get along well with the lead administrator, but the aides were all very good and the cook was good. The food was good there, better than probably where he's at now. They had activities although he did not participate in many of them. It's much larger than where he's at now. He was in kind of an apartment-type unit with a small kitchenette and living room together and the bedroom was separate. He had a kitchenette with a sink. He had counter space and cabinets in there, but nothing other than a few plates or dishes. He had a refrigerator in there. It's a nice facility, just a little older.

I had been at Willowpark, and it was a beautiful facility. It was very nice. The people that I know who were there had little suites with a little kitchen. If you want to cook on your own, you could. It was clean, the people were friendly, they had a lot of activities, and I think they had their own van that would take residents to appointments or shopping.
