Don't put your loved one here. While the place is nice looking, the management staff is a problem. The general staff is nice and can be very helpful, but it seems that they are not given complete instructions on the care of the residents. There is a high turnover of staff. The nurse is vague and will be dishonest to cover her butt. They don't want food in the rooms. The meals are so so. and the list goes on.

My mother moved into Autumn Bay two months ago. The food is mediocre, the apartment is average, the staff is very kind, and I think they generally try to do a good job. The management is very haphazard and definitely needs work. The activities as posted in the charts do not happen because not many residents participate. The management needs to communicate with the residents’ families, so we understand the procedures around there. It’s very confusing and very frustrating for the employees. I really like the staff, but I will not recommend this place.
