We went to look at Arbor View Assisted Living, and it was beautiful inside. It was close to the capital drive, so I was concerned about the noise and stuff, but I didn't hear anything inside. They have different levels of care. Everything was so well done and pretty. It looks like a nice place to be. They have a washer and dryer. The staff who gave us a tour was very nice and showed us every option. The facility was super clean. The dining room was very nice.

Arbor View seems like a top-notch facility. The nurses on staff were knowledgeable, kind, and welcoming to residents and visitors. We had no problem visiting my grandfather and the nurses directed us where to go to see him. My grandfather is experiencing early dementia but he is well-treated; the nurses exhibited patience with every resident I saw them interacting with. The building is very comfortable for the residents; there are no stairs, the hallways are wide for wheelchair access. There are gathering areas in several parts of the facility for family to visit with couches, televisions, and refrigerators. It is very family-oriented. The residents besides my grandfather with whom I interacted all seemed happy to be there and seemed well-taken care of. We did not eat with my grandfather but we were there during a meal. The food seems healthy and well-balanced while being appropriate for those with dietary needs. This seems like a top-notch facility that I would recommend to anyone.
