About This Community
Matthews Senior Living communities are an attractive option for seniors who may no longer be comfortable living in their own home but don’t need the round the clock medical care and supervision of a nursing home. In our communities seniors can get the daily support needed, while remaining as independent as possible.
We are sensitive to the fact that making the decision to leave home can be difficult for seniors and their families. We are happy to assist in providing information about various options available.

Matthews of Irish Road is very nice. It has smaller units, spacious rooms, plenty of staff members, and they take very good care of my mother. They have an activity set up every day. They provide transportation to and from doctors' appointments and errand running. The staff is very good. I cannot say enough good things about them. They're on top of her meds, they are on top of her care, and they keep me informed. When I walk in the door they're right there to greet me on a first name basis. You get that feeling because it's a smaller community. She gets three meals a day, she has a laundry facility, there's a hairstylist that comes in once a week, and there's an RN on-staff 24 hours a day.

Matthews was a smaller one, but I guess as far as price difference, it would probably be the one that we would choose for my mom.
