Short staffed with incompetent care givers. My mother was admitted for rehab post hospital inpatient. She complained for 3 days that her feet hurt from the swelling that she couldn't walk but they made her walk anyway and didn't even check her feet. The day before discharge the swelling in her feet and legs was so bad that the fluids were breaking through her skin leaving puddles on the floor and soaking her bed and THEY STILL DID NOTHING! At discharge, with the fluids pooling at her feet they rushed through the paperwork and sent her home to independent living! I rushed her to the hospital where she was admitted for congestive heart failure.

LindenGrove Communities in New Berlin was chaotic. It was a larger facility and when we walked in, the woman who was at the door checking people in was running around like a crazy person. The residents were like hanging out in the hallways and the room that we were shown, (which was the only room that they had available) had dirty linens on the floor. It was very dark and tiny. None of the rooms had showers in them. They have to wheel the residents to a community showering space, which to me, just breeds the potential for disease and sickness (especially in the elderly). So, it wasn't a good fit for us.

Linden Grove New Berlin is terrible. The rooms are okay, but nothing great. Staff's response time to a call light is 30+ minutes. Just awful when someone needs assistance. They just don't care about the residents. The food is also terrible. Holy cow, worst food I ever tasted. Had to get my loved one out of there to another facility, but he was there 2 weeks. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

After accepting medicare, they are now trying to extort the amount they agree to with medicare. The full medicare amount has been received not they are billing me over the agreed rate. A second issue resulting from the incorrect procedure is still an issue due to the fact no one will return my calls The OT services are also a joke, having years of experience does not help if you are too lazy to get out of your chair

I was discharged from this facility today Feb. 27, 2019. I was also there two and a half years ago. I requested to return after an excellent experience at the earlier date. This place has deteriorated due to changing management. I saw my roommate fall out of her wheelchair and lay on the floor for 40 minutes before any of the staff responded to the call light. Average response time to a call light is 20 to 45 minute. There are some very caring and efficient employees working here, but the indifferent aides destroy the image. The place is not clean, and when sharing a bathroom with a roommate, this matters. Thanks to Mary and Nicole, of physical therapy, for restoring me to where i was before I arrived with the flu. and Margie, Tara {the dancer} Adonis and apologies to anyone I may have forgotten. Bottom line is that I could not in good conscience recommend Linden Grove to anyone.

My grandmother enjoyed her stay at LindenGrove. It was hard for us to get her to leave the rehab unit. Staff was very attentive and took time out of their busy day to just sit and talk with her. I would recommend this place to everyone.

My grandmother stayed there for rehab and hospice in 2012 based on the recommendations from other people my family knew. Needless to say I would not send my worst enemy there. The head nurse did not take her teeth out one evening and she almost choked during the night. We had to constantly remind them that she had no food restrictions once she was on hospice. She had bed sores and it felt like the only time they did anything for her was when a family member was with her, and it was like pulling teeth to get anyone. The assistants were great, but the head nurse didn't listen to anything we had to say. I miss my grandma every single day, and we all wish that she would have had better care while she was there.

My mom stayed with Linden Grove for three weeks following her knee surgery. The staff was helpful, attentive, caring and did what they could to make her stay enjoyable. Linden Grove provided activities daily for the all the residents and patients, my mom really enjoyed playing bingo and made friends with other residents. Every evening Linden Grove provided a nice snack and even had cocktails once a week. My mom attended physical therapy daily and they showed my mom correct ways to place weight on her new knee, how to get in and out of vehicles and how to function in her home. Linden Grove made sure that I, as her only daughter, was involved in her care in Linden Grove and out. All of our concerns were heard and addressed to our satisfaction. The staff spent time with my mom talking to her and getting to know her, this made my mom feel more welcome and that she was more of a guest than a patient. Overall my mom's experience was a good one at Linden Grove and when she needed to stay somewhere for aftercare again, Linden Grove was on the top of her list.
