We visited the Heritage Court Memory Care Waukesha, they didn’t know we were coming, and a nurse took us around. She was fine. The facility was okay, but it didn’t seem to have the activities for the people. It wasn’t as clean as the other places, the rooms fine, they were normal rooms, and it was nothing special. The dining area was fine.

Heritage is very neat. I liked the fact that it was strictly all memory care. Everything was geared toward memory care so my husband won't not get lost in the shuffle. They have wonderful activity directors and he participates. They ask people what they would like to do, then they would read out the suggestions. For example, someone once suggested that there's not enough cheese in the sandwiches. For lunch soon after, they announced, "Everyone is going to have an extra slice of cheese because someone thinks they're not getting enough." I think that was very impressive. If there's anything I don't like, it's probably how they handled the medication. I went there at different times of the day to see if the care is consistent, but I was very satisfied. The dining area is excellent, it's very clean. I love how they coax them into eating or trying different things. They do a very nice job.
