We toured Brenwood Park. It's up-to-date, clean, and I got the chance to meet the business manager. The person who gave me the tour was friendly, knowledgeable, and positive. The dining area was clean and looked good. They just didn't have any Polish-speaking employees, so we didn't go with this place.

Brenwood Park was good and they had nice apartments. They showed me the 2-bedroom units. They serve meals in the dining room, but most of the seniors there cook in their own rooms. The staff was very nice and top-notch.

Harmony is fine, and he is still adjusting at being there. I think it will take him time. We were just surprised at the cost of the places we were looking at. In the end, it was just a matter of finding one in the right area that would suit his needs. We picked it because it is the closest to where he used to live, and they had an available room right away. He was transferring from a rehab facility, and they were suddenly releasing him when we weren't expecting it, so we had to find something rather quickly. We narrowed it down and then chose what we thought would work the best. Harmony seems to meet his needs. The staff seems very responsive and very friendly. We liked that the place is small. There are only 46 beds, so it is not too big. It is all on one floor so this way he doesn't have to go far to get to the dining room or the facilities that he needs to go to because he doesn't walk very well. It is very nice.

Harmony Living Center is a smaller facility. The level of care is a little bit higher than most assisted living facilities. The people are very helpful and very welcoming for my dad. They would come and respond very quickly to a call button.
They do offer activities. The staff are very open and very approachable if you need help with anything. The residents seems to be more open and ready to talk to people that would come into the facility. The rooms are good, too. But the food could be better.

My mom has moved into Brenwood Park and she is all set there. We chose this because they had an opening and it is close to my house and my other siblings. They also do a lot of activities and that is what my mom wanted. Their staff so far is really good. They have been very helpful and very nice to my mom. They spend time to answer questions if we have any.
