BRIA of Trinity Village is a good value. It is independent. I don't see anybody if I want to, and I like that. The facility is nice and clean. I like it a lot. I am not a big joiner of the activities. I prefer to just be on my own. The staff members were competent and friendly. The food is edible. It's much more affordable for me on Social Security than in assisted living, which was not affordable at all. I'm very relieved to be here.

I went to the BRIA of Trinity Village, but they weren't prepared for me the day that I went even though an appointment was set up. When I got there they weren't even expecting me there or anything. It's a big building, it's a nice building, but they didn't have a key to be able to get in the apartments/to be able to show you the apartments. The one apartment they showed me was a two-bedroom apartment, but the young lady was talking as though it was a one-bedroom with two living rooms, and I just didn't call back and make another appointment with them. When I got there I ran into a friend of mine that I used to bowl with. I had been looking for him for a long time, so I was able to find a friend when I went there. It was quiet, it was comfortable, it looked like the people were happy, and it looked like they had a lot of options for things to do. They have like a lot of sitting rooms and areas that they can get out of their apartment and be able to sit out and mingle with other people, but with COVID going on, a lot of that stuff is shut down right now. The staff was very apologetic that we couldn't get into any other apartments because the key she had didn't fit. There's a lot of long hallways and walking and stuff, and I was explaining to her, if my mom did come there she would have to be somewhere near the elevator or on the first floor, right by the door. Mom has a walker.

BRIA of Trinity Village was clean. The staff was friendly. It was fine. The apartments that we saw were nice and spacious. They had a one-bedroom and something a little bit bigger than a studio. They have group activities, they have grocery shopping once a week, and they have outings. The activities are nice and the place is big.

The best thing about BRIA of Trinity Village is that if people want to go to church, their chapel area is very nice. They had a church in house, and that part was nice. Other than that, it was more like a nursing care facility. They were understaffed. The lady who showed us around was the same one who did the entertainment and was the same person who runs the small store that they had. There were four different jobs and there was only one person doing all of them. She kept showing up everywhere because she was doing everything. To me, that would not be a good situation when there are people who have special needs. Some units had washers and dryers in them, but they needed updating as well. The place would have fit my mom's needs. It wasn't a quality place and it wasn't what my mom would be used to, but she could have lived there just fine.

I did not really like BRIA of Trinity Village. You walk in the place, but it was doom and gloom to me. I don't know if they were reconstructing or doing something, but it was just not inviting. Usually when you walk into the main lobby there are flowers. The place was nice, but it wasn't like that for me. The staff member showed me a room but the blanket on the bed was terrible. I wasn't expecting that when I walked in it would look like a hotel room, but at least I would have rather walked in there and see an empty bed with nothing on it. I didn't care for this place. I talked to other patients there who said that the place was OK, but they didn't like the food. It wasn't a warm place. The lady staff member who showed me around was friendly and nice, but it was like she just had to do a quick runthrough. I could see that they were doing work on the place, but she didn't say anything to excuse the mess. I would have liked to have gotten better insight into why the place looked like that.

BRIA of Trinity Village is a relatively old facility that has changed hands several times. It's very spread-out and not in a very desirable place in Milwaukee. Accessibility by car is somewhat difficult, and the rooms weren't impressive. They don't have a whole lot of amenities.

I like the spacious apartments here in BRIA of Trinity Village. The staff is professional. They treat everyone with consideration and understanding. I love the place. There are a number of activities. I haven't partaked in any yet because I have been getting myself unpacked and moved in; however, I know there's music, singing, and several hobby activities. They go on outings. We get one meal in the independent side.

I toured Bria of Trinity Village. The facility and the apartments are very nice. I had dinner there, but the food was not great. I did not like the mix of independent living with assisted living, and I didn't like the area either.

My brother was in BRIA before. When he was first placed there, the staff was good, treated him great, and was very cooperative. However, a new company took over, and the original staff resigned, and they cut down on staff to the point that the service became lousy. The top nurses were nice. The building was OK, but management was lacking. The dining setup was great, but he would not eat in the dining room.

Trinity Village has been good. I've been living here for almost five years now. This was more affordable, and I'm very pleased with them. There are services available if we need them, like assisted living, rehab, and nursing home all in the same facility with free meals and free laundry. They have a regular dining room that we can go to but we choose not to go to because we can always have meals in our apartment. They have different sizes of apartments and the one I have fits my needs. They have quite a few activities. They have an exercise room and Bible studies. The staff is nice and accommodating.
